With the new ‘Long May We Drive’ campaign, Pennzoil is working to preserve the longevity of car culture and automotive enthusiasm for motorists, young and old, everywhere.
A pillar of the campaign focuses on the undeniable excitement of collectors within the industry - something that John Hennessey, Founder and CEO of Hennessey Performance, is passionate about. John’s collection of classics and late-model vehicles has grown over the years. He has acquired and held onto the cars that have impacted his career and influenced him as an enthusiast. These include the four-barrel carbureted Oldsmobile 442, twin-turbocharged Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4, and the supercharged Ford GT.
In addition to the continued pursuit of world-class performance, Hennessey and @Pennzoil have come together to support the ‘Long May We Drive’ campaign and take viewers behind the scenes of John Hennessey’s car collection. In the video, John talks of his love for cars and shows off a few of his most prized and meaningful automobiles. He discusses why he’s held onto or sought out these vehicles specifically and how he acquired the pristine examples through other ‘Long May We Drive’ campaign supporters like the popular online auction site @bringatrailerauctions

This man has a Hennessy Venom F5 that's valued at 3 million. He owns plenty of supercars and exotics. This is just some humble bologna he's showing off for a video.
John has been such a positive force in the automotive aftermarket, the fact that GM recognize his contribution and backs up his warranties on his modified cars speaks volumes

I would have been disappointed if there wasn't a Stealth or 3000GT in that collection. I remember clearly reading about the mods John did to those when they were new. It was always exciting to see what he would do next.
