MTH 707w Limited Production Set to replicate the Lionel Prewar 707w Set. San Diego 3-Railers 07-24

This is a MTH replica of the Lionel prewar 707w set from 1940/42. MTH Item # 20-1005-1. MTH only produced 125 sets (came with certificate of authenticity). The original Lionel 707w prewar set came with a 700e Scale Hudson and semi scale rolling stock which included a 714 box car, 715 tank car, 716 hopper and 717 caboose. The 700e Scale Hudson and all rolling stock came with NMRA scale couplers. The Lionel 707w set also came with an oval of O-72 "T" Rail track. Most Lionel prewar 707w sets came with a semi scale 715 "Shell Oil" die-cast tank car. Some of those 707w sets came with a 715 "Sunoco" die-cast tank car in very limited numbers. This MTH replica 707w set comes with the more rare Sunoco tank car. All MTH cars are semi scale die-cast metal, very heavy and beautiful. The MTH 5344 Scale Hudson has Proto 2 (3 volt) and is a great runner. Thanks for watching.
