The legit scariest clip.
These guys were probably just scavenger thieves, looking for expensive homes that might be owned but not occupied. They probably didn't see any cars and a few scouts may have been documenting the surroundings for some time. They just made a critical error, generally these types strike when no one is there, taking essentially anything of value that isn't nailed to the floor.
Frustrating maybe, but not really scary. Home intruders are always scarier as they aren't just there to rob the place.

The story about the little girl seeing the shadow man in her room is exactly what I went through as a child. So, when I was little, I used to sleep in my bed, all alone, with the lights turned off. Now, the thing with shadow people is that they are darker than the actual shadows themselves. People call this shadow the “Hat man.” Now, the hat-man is a shadow person with a cloak, and a top hat. He brings bad energy, and feeds off of fear from others. I’d sit there in bed, and for some reason, he’d stand in my doorway, and stare at me. I didn’t seem to be scared of him, and just went to sleep. I’d try and talk to him, but he’d just whisk away into another room/hallway. My cousin saw the same man in the guest room we have, and he stood right in front of her. Once she blinked, he went away. Now, I haven’t seen him since, except a few days ago when I was staring at a mirror, and something black and humanoid ran across and hit the lamp. When I looked at the lamp, it didn’t move, but I’m the mirror it did. If you ever encounter a shadow person, tell them to leave. Tell them they aren’t welcome in your home, and they’ll leave.

That's what I thought. I've had two sleep paralysis experiences, and both featured purely black, human shaped forms, like a shadow, kind of like described. In my experience they both happened in the same room, I woke up and couldn't move and saw this human shaped figure standing next to my bed, and then it got in bed with me (I felt the weight of someone climbing in bed with me, and I normally sleep alone)
My first thought on that story was "ask if she could move when she saw this creature."
Lesson : pray for your house before moving in.
