    I don't understand why people persist with this idea that it's Gensler doing this. Not to say he isn't a megalomaniac, but the focus and press needs to be a while lot more on Warren, the megalo grande in the arena. Gary isn't doing this crap on his own, someone (and I'd guess not only Warren) has to be tossing BIG promises his way for him to be so irrational in the face of a subject he most definitely understands.

    It's frustrating that no educated interviewers call out Gensler on his bs. There's so many things she could've called him on. Pointing out that so many important people, such as politicians, the former SEC chair, even other SEC members, judges, etc have all acknowledged that the current securities laws DON'T properly apply to all crypto and don't recognize the complications when some assets might start resembling a security, but as they become truly decentralized, become more like a commodity. She also could've called him on the fraudster part and asked if he cared so much, why he was too busy suing companies like XRP instead of catching FTX, arguably the worst fraudster in the space over the last while. He hasn't been protecting any investors. He's simply forced them to buy crypto in a less secure, regulated, safe environment.

Gensler employer is not the SEC but rather BlackRock and huge Banks. The court judgment is out, but he is not interested in the judgment. Gensler has to leave the SEC.

    Okay, I found the whole 7:41 minute clip and see that you simply cut out empty space. That’s fine, but, given the way so much fake news is created by editing out key things, I’d suggest not trying to cut a minute or two of ‘space’ from such interviews as it raises suspicion. But, yeah, glad to see that you didn’t intend to manipulate the interview to other than what it was.

    First off, Not respecting/ignoring the court after so much time and money have been spent to get to the ruling he should IMMEDIATELY be held in contempt of court. Second, This is very simple folks, this has nothing to do with scams and the welfare of the public invester. This is 100% about taxes and the ability to burden you with said taxes. If you want something that is "illegal" converted in to something "legal" just slap a tax on it or require a license for a very large fee or both in most cases and everything will be okay in the world. Just look at drugs that used to be illegal and now are. Nothing has changed about the drug or the people using it except now they can collect taxes. Hence now legal.

    He said "we work on the filings that are open in front of us",. (not past files that opened- but actually succeeded).. Once a decision is filed as failed or succeeded- it's closed. Then needs to be openly filed again- or appealed if it was denied initially,. These "open filings" are what they prioritize... So,. before SEC could consider "taking back" a decision that they already passed (BTC Futures),. while also "taking it back" even though no one is asking for it (we the people)- then the SEC would have to 1st work on all the open cases (blackrock etf, vanguard, fidelity, many others)- then figure out a way to justify blacklisting what already passed (BTC Futures)..

    • @itsophishle7044
      @itsophishle7044 11 месяцев назад

      Basically in order to do it,. They'd have to first justifiably deny all open filings for all these Spot ETF's on Bitcoin, as well as other open files for non-crypto stuff.. Then figure out a way to justify reopening a closed file that they themselves already deemed "safe/good"- and the reasoning for revoking the decision- would also think "show cause" for how the Futures ETF went from "safe" to "now its not safe" even though nothing has changed,.

    Gery is choosing his words carefully because he doesn't want to upset his "handlers". Does BlackRock have any influence over the SEC?

    I hope Gary is looking what’s going on in New Mexico. We don’t care if she is a Governor we going after her cause it’s unconstitutional on what’s going on over there.
    If Gary want to defy the courts let him. He can get the same treatment too. So he will back off

    if you go back and watch videos of Gensler prior to his SEC posting he was very very pro Crypto. After he got his promotion each thing he talks about is how he tries to convince the people who don't know anything about crypto how corrupt it is. REALLY what a bloody shame...how does the guy sleep at night!!!!

    If no legislation is passed, the industry will continue to develop. It will survive without government planning or the so-called clarity. Cryptocurrencies are cryptocurrencies. Not securities and Gensler knows that. The best thing would be to eliminate the SEC. It is a cesspool of politically motivated bureaucrats.

    I wish normal citizens could simply consider the words of courts and ignore them.
    Gensler is taking massive pauses to keep the lies as straight as he can. Talking is easy when you speak truthfully. I want to know what a security token is, he hasn't been able to define that yet but uses the term.

    If Bitcoin is a commodity vs. a security, then it would seem the CTFC should have jurisdiction over it. So why are we still dealing with the SEC in determining the future of Bitcoin? Maybe Congress has to step in and declare who will administer the disposition of Bitcoin through the judicial system, thereby taking the power away from the executive branch of gov't to dictate the narrative. The SEC clearly has no respect for the separation of powers in that it has stated through Gensler, the court's decision is up for interpretation on his part. Let's make a decision already!
