chillax bro, its how the "theys" have been educated, bit like some twilight zone episode, or Village of the Dammed, but we Post Binary-Bias Dudes know the real world solutions are out there, and lets just plug on. Supply and Demand.
no probs, we will be the last to get a Pension under 70, so I guess the laugh is on the other side now.@@Rebecca-bz6ph

GPT can access and interpret information in various languages, delivering the outcomes in your preferred language. Conversely, when using Google, to achieve more comprehensive results, it's necessary to input your queries in multiple languages.

i.e Google: "Wine market trends in Germany" + "Tendencias del mercado del vino en Alemania" + "Weinmarkt Trends in Deutschland" (but I don't understand German) 😒
Thanks for the post, like the genuine vibe. I am 50, and have not used Google for any search, unless I am checking rankings, since the launch of Perplexity. I must be in the very, very small minority.
While I still use Google once in a great while, I too search using AI (Bing, Perplexity, ChatGPT, etc.) Before we Googled ... we Yahoo'd the searches .... and before that AOL.
Nice to a change of scenery pun intended! Interesting to listen to your thoughts Hamish. I’m still fairly new to all this and your insights offer a more rounded perspective than some other people.
At the moment in terms of "Hitting the target" AI is an interesting "Programmed Viewpoint", but my experience is that it is more off the mark over several searches, I actually did a 5 search comparison. In particular this OVER 50's Dude, will change to whatever method gives "ME/him/her/they/it" the best experience, as many over 40's do too! BECAUSE we grew up w/o Binary Bias, and so understand the REAL world results we WANT.
These two things are not comparable. Compared to the manufacturing challenges and the mining of raw materials, not to mention the purchase price and turnaround time of the average vehicle, there is zero friction online relative to switching the global fleet of ICE vehicles to EVs. Nothing significantly new in the physical world is required for the nature of search to change. If Google went out of business today, every person on the planet could switch to Bing tomorrow. They might not be happy about it, but it would be as simple as that. Obviously, if all ICE vehicles stopped working today, it would be years or maybe even a decade or more to replace all of those with EVs, the charging infrastructure, and the power generation required to keep them running. For a fairer comparison, although not a perfect comparison, this is more like streaming music vs. the record companies or Netflix ending Blockbuster... although even those transitions had more built-in resistance than SEO.
great video. haven't watched your videos in a while! ireland looks beautiful need to visit some day. do you have a website or page to book a call for website seo?
AI is just too far away from being useful for research without individualized training. Sure, you can prompt an AI to search for exactly what you want, but that's often more work than looking it up yourself. Unless an AI is trained on your thought process and how you evaluate your research it's not going to give you tailored, useful information. Also, how often have you discovered and learned something unexpected about a subject while researching? Using AI, you would miss that learning process and only get the answers you asked for.
yes SEO is dying and websites (blogs) are dying ~ AI is coming ~ Search will be easier ~ You can say "up to date" news or content (SEO) may not die, but the "every green" SEO is 1000% will die!
I find myself more and more ask questions from chatgpt than google. It is not perfect but it will get better. And biggest plus of chatgpt is that you can communicate and dig dipper asking more questions about this topic and dont jump from page to page on google or wiki pages, or read millions of dumb irrelevant comments on forums until you find the one useful. It is much faster and easier to find information and get your question answered.
@@Incomestreamsurfers True but it won't be blogging an 2000 word stuffing anymore ~ It will be straight to the point ~ & with all this AI coming out SEO may change every minute?
Based on the SERPs, SEO rewards the bad seeds. I know what we'd all like SEO to be, but it's not that. This is a business and the game is to produce as much minimum viable content for the lowest cost possible while manufacturing EEAT in a variety of ways including, but not limited to, buying links (whether directly or through an outreach agency). And because it's a business, most content is bias in one way or another with the objective of driving traffic to an offer. It's always been a cat and mouse game with Google.
It's a breath of fresh air, when you and very few others are genuinely trying to help. It certainly is appreciated. You deserve and earned your success. Thank you.
Weather looking warm for this time of the year! - Thanks for this honest update Hamish
"Older people, over 30, over 40..." I felt personally attacked by that line. 😆
As a 33-year-old person, I always felt young. Until I watched this video. Oh well.... 🤣
I'm not far off slipping into the over-50 bracket, I'm going to have to start using ChatOAP pretty soon.

I think he means boomers but he totally grouped us millenials and gen x with them 😭😂

Great Video, nice change of atmosphere. As always THNX!
Hell yeah bro, finally good to put a face to the voice..hehe...nice feedback!

This was well-reasoned assessment of what may lie ahead. (With bonus cat content!)
Thank you Hamish, much appreciated.
Sage words mate. I totally agree and am glad you have the balls + platform to do it. ❤
Think about its like that : did normal fuel cars disappeared or decreased suddenly when electric cars show up ? No..
In the UK they will within the next ten years, if current laws remain in place.

True specialists will have still plenty of job. More opportunities actually are coming and more options. Time to educate even more.
Lovely video, we should all go outside ... from time to time 🙂
More of this man! Outside is good!
No sir, YOU are a legend. Thank you! :)

Disagree - I guess my argument here is that just like books won't dissappear because of Kindles, blogs won't dissappear because of AI

Seo isnt dead. It just kills off the bad seeds of the batch which is 95% of all content creators.

The thumbnail look like generated by ai 😂
Good to see you get out and touch the grass 😂
SGE would have negative effect on organic traffic. Better diversify traffic sources. Be prepared for millenials.
