Jimin is my bias. A complete hardworking all around artist. He does not use autotune during live performances just for video as oart of creativity (storytelling) .
✨Jimin “Set Me Free Pt.2’, it’s everything & more then I could hope for, Jimin’s amazing artistry, his so beyond spectacular,, so mesmerizing, phenomenal performance! The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, which aside from the two main choreographers, he had a hand in, offering suggestions, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production, even the set design of the MV. Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this made me that much more excited, for the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” released last yr on March 24, along with his main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Jimin’s other songs “Face-Off” (trap beat, absolute fire), “Alone”(hauntingly beautiful vocals), as well as hidden track “Letter” (Jimin plays guitar, meaningful, heartfelt fan song, thanking army for their support), are all equally amazing! Though Jimin’s song ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, blew me away , meeting all my expectations & then some, I was also not totally surprised, because indeed Jimin is now ‘set free’ from the confines of being part of a group, to now be able to open up full throttle and ‘finally’ be able to release all that he held back for so many yrs! Jimin has been involved in every facet of creating this album! Hands on all the way, perfectionist that he is, including writing lyrics, composing, as well as being heavily involved in production! Jimin’s true, real, inner self will be finally seen in all its raw, authentic, amazing, heartfelt, passionate, emotional, sincere glory! This is aside from Jimin’s full range, hardly ever being shown, aside from high notes, but being finally able to show his full registry, mid range as well as lower registry as well!. Often not being fully taken advantage of, but that comes with being part of a group, that has every single member having so much talent that it’s been limiting for Jimin, especially him being so selfless, making a point of having others shine before himself. Now the spotlight will be just on him! Though we’ve seen Jimin’s amazingly spectacular, so mesmerizingly outstanding solo performances before. But now, as Jimin himself, mentioned, he’ll indeed be showing the depth of his raw inner self! The album was written, expressing all emotions, thoughts & feelings he went through during the yrs of the pandemic, sharing these innermost feelings with the intent on having others relate during their dark times. Jimin has also said that with all the members now exploring & expressing their own individual talent , it will just make BTS that much stronger when they come back together as a group! In an interview Jimin explained: "I tried to express the grand scale of the song and [the ideas of] determination, passion, and overcoming. “Set me free” means setting myself free, so I thought it was important that I be the one to set myself free - not someone else. 👍🙏❤️🔥🔥😍🤩🌟✨⚡️
Actually part 1 of the song is in the album of other member of the group, Suga. Two songs are not related, but because the titles are same, they used part 1 and 2.
Jimin is my bias!!!💜 But I’m OT7 since they’re all incredible!!! This song is my anthem and there’s no Set Me Free pt 1 per se. Suga has a song called Set Me Free on one of his mixtapes and Jimin wanted to differentiate his from Suga’s so he named it pt 2. Listen to Jimin’s “Lie”, “Serendipity”, “Filter” the rest of his album FACE (which this song is from) and his new album MUSE!!! The single “Who” is awesome too as well as “Be Mine”, “Rebirth”, “Slow Dance”…. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Enjoy!!! Borahae!!!😊
❣Aside from Jimin writing the lyrics, composing the melody, as well as being involved in producing the song, Jimin was also involved in the production of the MV. It was his idea to have the set designed like a circular prison. He was also hands on involved with the choreography. It was Jimin’s idea also to go shirtless in second half, with the writing on Jimin’s torso, all his idea, the German words of well known famous 19th century Austrian poet, Widening Circles, Written by Rainer Maria Rilke. Germany (1875 - 1926)which connects in some ways, to Jimin’s song as well as the circle theme Jimin designed for his FACE album cover: ❤🔥👍😍🔥🔥 I live my life in widening circles that reach out across the world. I may not complete this last one but I give myself to it. I circle around God, around the primordial tower. I’ve been circling for thousands of years and I still don’t know: am I a falcon, a storm, or a great song?
Love your guys reaction! 💜☺️ the autotune is to show “the voices in his head”. The song is about breaking free from depression. His EP FACE is his story about his struggles during the pandemic with depression and drinking. Set Me Free P2 is the ending of this chapter. Right after he was done with album, he went right into writing/creating MUSE (his second solo album) that was released July 19th. Set Me Free is originally done by Agust D (SUGA) of BTS. Jimin’s is not a direct sequel but uses the basis from SUGA’s song to continue it in his version. Looking forward to seeing more reactions! There’s so many songs by the BTS members under their solo careers and group. My biases are Jimin and Yoongi, but honestly they all have a special place in my heart. Enjoy your BTS journey and can’t wait to see what is next. 💜
❣️ Jimin has actually many real tattoos : - "NEVERMIND" title of Suga’s song that inspire him that’s on his right side upper ribcage - "Youth/Growth” an ambigram with deep meaning, behind his left ear - “moon phases”, from his neck, down his spine. - "young forever" one word on back of each upper arm (BTS song, that army sang to BTS during a concert surprising BTS, bringing them to tears) - "13" on his wrist holds special meaning to Jimin bday (oct. 13) + BTS debuted (june 13) - "7" on his finger (tattoo, all 7 members of BTS got on various parts of their bodies.
recommend you to also react to 🔥❣Jimin “Set Me Free Pt.2” live stage at Mcountdown, Jimin’s live vocals are an absolute must to hear, especially his high note & lower registry adlibs! Also Dance practice as well for ❣ “Like Crazy” (debuted #1 on Billboard Hot 100), especially since MV doesn’t have the amazing must see choreography! Also recommend to react to live ❣Jimin “Like Crazy” Stage mix by channel Brilliant ,(live performance has amazing choreography). All Jimin’s songs that he wrote lyrics, composed melody, & helped produce from his still charting, recording breaking 1st. still charting, record breaking album FACE are musts to hear! 👍❤🔥🔥🤩😍🌟✨
The use of auto tune is on purpose to show the waring thoughts going on in mind. The album is the story of his thoughts feelings battles in covid. The battle he was having with his own thoughts and feelings thinking he'd lost everything but then all 7 members had those sort of feelings in due to covid. So it's showing his battle to free himself of all those negative, thoughts and feelings it represents his inner monologue within his own mind.
Would love for you to also react to, live performance, from Bangtantv: 🔥❣Jimin ‘Rebirth + Slow Dance (feat.Sofia Carson)’ Live Clip, (CC on for English subs). Jimin wrote lyrics, composed, & produced. Both songs are, from Jimin’s already quite successful record breaking new album MUSE! Would love for you to react to all songs from MUSE including the other 2 MV’s, “(SGMB” & “Closer Than This”). The live performance of 🔥❣Jimin “Who” on Jimmy Fallon tonight show which aired on July 22nd, is yet another example of how Jimin’s live vocals shine, that much more, absolutely always even more outstandingly amazing, even while dancing such strenuous dance moves! Another must watch release where Jimin’s vocals are equally ever so heavenly, so beautiful to hear is: 🔥❣Jimin “Who” Acoustic Remix Version. Also urge you to react to, just released fav banger song also from Jimin’s 2nd album MUSE, but all English version, from BTS official channel Bangtantv, 🔥❣Jimin ”Be Mine” English version visualizer. It’s an Afro Beat with a Latin feel! 👍❤🔥🔥🫠😍🤩🌟✨💫
This song does sound "retro" to me. It reminds me in a way of one of Janet Jackson's songs. The beat in the background takes me way back in time for sure. Great reaction. Take care...
The moon tattoos are simply the phases of the moon - there are six moons total. The first moon is the phase on June 13, 2013 (when the group debuted). There is a cool story about the other moon tattoos, though. He had the one moon tattoo on the back of his neck already, and a fan drew artwork of him with all the phases of the moon down his back. Member V saw the fan art and showed Jimin. Jimin loved it and decided to add the phases down his back. Jimin also has 13 on his wrist (10/13 is his birthday, and 06/13 is the group's debut date), "youth" behind his (left?) ear, "young" and "forever" on the back of his arms between his shoulders and elbows ("Young Forever" is one of his favorite BTS songs; he finds the song very meaningful), "NEVERMIND" on his chest at the top of the ribcage on his right side (comes from a lyric that member SUGA wrote on his first solo mixtape that talks about enduring hardship and rising above it), and a "7" on his index finger (you can often see it when he holds a mic). Little J knew a lot of this, so I just filled in some gaps. Also, for the members' "7" tattoo - JK's is behind his left ear, V's is on his upper left thigh, j-hope's is on his achilles tendon above his ankle, SUGA's is on his left shoulder (right next to the scar from his shoulder surgery - a repair that was done for an injury he suffered while making money as a motorcyle food delivery person before the group debuted and SUGA was a trainee (related to the group's very humble beginnings)), Jin's is on his back, and RM's is near his ankle. Interesting fact: Jimin and JK were limited in what they could do in the miltary, because tattoos are frowned upon in South Korea still. Since their tattoos are so visible, it prevented JK, for instance, from doing what V is doing in the military special police (basically an anti-terrorism unit in the area around Seoul, although the exact name of what he does may be slightly different).
13 both for his birthday and the debut day they debuted 13th June 2013 also he has his digit 7 on the inside of his finger their 10year friendship tattoo, he has tattoos behind one ear and song lyrics around the top of his arms. Down his side its says 'Nevermind' one of their song lyrice the 'forever young' around his upper arms.
Jimin has some tattoos 😉 1. Underneath his ribs: NEVERMIND 2. Number 13 on his wrist, which means so much for him: their debut date June 13 2013, his birthday Oct 13. 3. Behind his ear: YOUTH 4. One on each forearm: FOREVER / YOUNG 5. The moons on his back 6. Friendship tattoo on the inner part of his index finger: 7
