Something to add to the persona 5 royal entry is that is a very long third party game on switch and includes everything on card, no downloads of any kind. That makes it more special and rare.
I actually bought the physical and digital of P5R because of this fact. I also have a Switch and a Switch lite and cannot access the game without interwebs😢 Everything is there, no updates no BS it may be the most complete Switch physical game.
@@perfectlysureunknown😳??? ... cannot access the game without interwebs??? What in the blue Hell does THAT mean? What in the hell's an interweb and why should we care??? Care to elaborate on that or are you talking gibberish?
Another reason Switch physical games collecting will be huge. On the legal side the e-shop and on the shady side the Steam Deck. Much less people bought physical. Nintendo naturally didnt bother to print as many physical copies.
Bayonetta Origins is really good; if you are a Zelda fan. It plays very similar to classic Zelda. So those who dislike BOTW and TOTK- this is for you, as the game is mainly puzzles and dugeons. For Bayonetta fans it is also great as it explains some plot holes, while still being a stand alone story for newcomers. I had a blast.
Oh man... This is the best Switch games video I have ever watched, and I watch tons of videos every day from many RUclipsrs (even in different languages!) Your intro engaged me, all of your reasons make perfect sense to me and starting my own (still small) collection, you touched a few points I am already "suffering" like not being able to find Return To Monkey Island. A few of the games in your list (like the MegaMan collection) have been on my radar for a while but haven't looked for it yet due to other priorities. Your video succeeds in creating a real sense of urgency on me. Keep it up, from a new subscriber 😉 Edit: by the way, you come over as being a very honest person. I'm going to watch your older videos in the coming days.
I bought a first edition octopath traveler (not a second print) and went to a store with gloves to put it in a case to eventually grade, it got a 9.8 A++ first edition cgc, think its the higjest graded first print
@MonadoMax In part 4 you should present the Zelda Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass Version that has everything on the card and is multilanguage. Only released in japan.
@@desklaserWait, WHAT? What the heck did they even have to censor... a SONG or something? Isn't this just like musical or something?(The game's description says you're an upcoming idol and such.)
@@KayMayhem777 The game is centered heavily around Japanese idol culture. The game was even marketed towards Japanese culture fans so much that they specifically did not do an English dub. However, Japanese idol culture also includes a lot of bikini type costumes. They went completely overboard censoring outfits considering they are a part of the culture the game is about. There is one chapter of the game about gravure modeling, which yes, does have some suggestive poses, but there is never any nudity and really about the same as you would see when Maxim and the other magazines of the like were big in the USA. The chapter was about the character finding confidence in herself to do this type of modeling but they completely changed this in the North American edit and completely changed the story. They wanted to market the game to Japanese culture fans but yet completely remove anything that might even remotely trigger an American Mom Karen. That is just the tip of the iceberg. This game is by far the most heavily censored piece of media to ever release. The youtube channel Censored Gaming has about a half hour video explaining everything. It's not just about editing cleavage. Have you ever seen someone in a full body wedding dress, covering completely from neck down, complete to fingertips and toes? No, you haven't, because it's ridiculous. When this game was ported to Switch, the North American edit was drafted as the global standard.
Quick correction! Lost Sphear was sold on the PS4 also! It was released in stores in Europe. America’s physical copy was exclusive to the Square Enix store however!
Well, let's check my collection: Katrielle Layton - Own it. I also have a couple Japan-exclusive merch that supposedly have amiibo functions, but only for the Japanese version (mine's North American). Persona 5 Royal - bought it 6 months ago when it was on discount at Target. Nick All-Star Brawl 2 - don't have it, since I heard the Switch version plays worse than other consoles. Megaman Battle Network Collection - Bought it at launch since I liked those games on GBA. Bayonetta Origins - don't have it. Return to Monkey Island - don't have it. Dark Souls Remastered- don't have it. Lost Sphear - don't have it. Octopath Traveler - own it. Tokyo Mirage Sessions - Actually, I do own it on Switch. And I have the Wii U version too. So 5/10
Thanks for these recs! I just got a switch few months ago I`m ashamed to say but im already up to 20 pllus physical switch games and man it is expensive to collect for. I paid over 100$ for lonely mountains downhill. Im pretty good at predicting games that will be worth $ and nearly everyone I have I believe will be worth $, not that i`d ever resell! But a few I def think will be worth a lot are 7 pirates H, Leisure Suit Larry wet dreams dry 1 and 2, Demon Throttle. Saga Frontier remaster, Shadowrun Trilogy, and Pang Adventures aka Buster Bros. Im just loving the switch though so far, its reinvigorated gaming for me as well as collecting. Probly one of my fave consoles since the sega dreamcast
Word of warning: "Dark Souls" on Switch is actually just a port of the original not a remaster like the ones on the PS4 and XBox One. Warning Tokyo Mirage on Switch is CENSORED on both sides of the ocean, Japan and US and maybe that is why. After finding this out the Japanese were so outraged Nintendo offered a refund. Meanwhile the Japanese Wii U version isn't. Heck Nintendo was so psycho they CHANGED the Japanese audio on the US version to match the modified text.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions didnt sell well because of the crazy amount of censorship done to the western version on the Wii U. And this release on the Switch still had all of that censorship. Nintendo had a chance to release the complete japanese version of this game world wide and chose not too. So that turned people off from buying this release. That being said it is a pretty good game as it is and i definitely agree people should pick it up for their collection.
In regards to Lost Sphear, it's not a Switch exclusive. I actually own a North American physical copy on the PS4. I think the PS4 physical was a Gamestop exclusive release if I'm not mistaken
Fran Bow for the switch is the only physical switch game I want even though I don't own a switch consol. I played the game on PC and its that good that I nee a physical copy. Super Rare.
Here's the deal, modern games are very rarely actually "rare," as they all exist on the eShop so it's not like they are not accessible if you want to play them. However, fleecing collectors for trinkets they feel like they need to have, now that's a different story.
If youre looking for suggestions well I have one: Crystar. This game is not only expensive but its also always compared to Yoko Taros work (Nier creator) for its story!
I remember seeing Persona 5 Royal for Nintendo Switch at Target (online) for about $24.99 USD a few months ago. I did pick up, but some shit happened with my payment method. Anyway, I fixed it by contacting a chat employee, who helped me get a refund on it. But, could only partially do it. So I only paid about $11 for it, and still got the physical game. It sucks that certain games stopped being produced physically, but it just happens due to lack of sales or due to the end consoles life span. If you know you can get a good deal on a game you really want. It's better to just take the opportunity and get it now if you got the money.
There is a reason why Tokyo Mirage Sessions sold so poorly. They made the heavy censored hack job western Wii U port the global standard for the Switch version. Atlus even had to put out an apology when there were massive preorder cancels in Japan once they found out they were getting a downgrade in that hack job too. Just because something is rare does not make it expensive. Nobody wants that game.
I got Persona 5 royal steelbook on PS5, saw the steel book for switch at a second hand game store here and didnt buy it I regret it big time man after watching this
Don’t care about Nintendo games as I care about PlayStation and Xbox games that support achievements and trophies 🏆 Nintendo has had enough years to put achievements on their hardware but decided not to abd its not just achievements that’s the problem it’s the performance power graphics on the Switch it can barely play call of duty or any of the powerful games

And Limited Run has plenty of non-numbered releases. I think they have more non-numbered releases than numbered, but I could be wrong on that one.
