Neat and clean city...No flex, no hoarding, no littering, no load noisy announcements. People of Vladivostok is are genuinely simple and trustworthy.
What I find absolutely mind boggling is the honesty and total trust your Russian hosts have in handing over the keys to their houses, within a couple of minutes of knowing you. Looks like Ramarajya to me. What's the secret anyway Jaiswal ? I lived for around 15 years in Munich Germany but nothing like this. People are always sceptical , except in very few rare cases, but in Russia it seems to be the norm. Greetings to all your friends & you too, from Bangalore, india

The cars in Vladivostok have steerings on the right side because they get cars imported directly from Japan. In Japan as well, people drive on the left side of the road like in India and the Commonwealth countries. Vladivostok is the biggest market for used Japanese cars. New cars as well, Japan directly exports them, as it is cheaper for people of Vladivostok to ship cars from Japan than from Moscow.

Loved this video! You just brought back old memories!! Just to the right of the Monument to the Fighters of Soviet Union, there is an opening of an underpass (which opens to to the other side of the street). I remember slipping and falling down there! It was an embarrassing situation but my host (who was accompanying me) was concerned that I hurt myself badly.
Also, I could recognize the streets as well!! On the left on the underpass on the other side, the street (13:53) takes you straight to the area where you saw the hitchhiker sculpture!! I also passed it to a shopping plaza called Izumrud (few meters) from the sculpture for a snack! Thanks Tourvashu for bringing back those memories.

I have been to Vladivostok in 1981. I stayed there for about three months. I'm a exm from Indian navy. I went there for repairing Submarine. After repairing the Submarine we sailed to India by sea.

I was there in the year 2019 for the Indian - Russian Annual summit , Even our PM NARENDRA MODI was present there ... What an amazing city it is .. we sailed for 4 days from China and the entire voyage was mesmerizing.

Yes, people in Russia 🇷🇺 very friendly, some as in Chile 🇨🇱, Argentina, Peru .I m in Patagonia for 7 months, traveling all the Patagonia ,greetings from Punta Arenas, Patagonia Antarctica Chile 🇨🇱 I love Russia 🇷🇺 so much ,safety ,friendly and I know Russian language fluently. I m now in Patagonia 2024, but I want to come to Vladivostok, Russia 🇷🇺

Tourvasu I am from Allahabad and now living in Jaipur.I am 67.I have travelled to Singapore,Malaysia,and Colombo.Besides to London and Salzburg and Vienna.At both places my daughter and sister in law live so I never had to stay in a hotel.I plan to visit CIS countries like Kyrgyzstan,Serbia,and Russia.How expensive are these places?
