I wanted to visit my faithful spot, Ollie's Bargain Outlet, before I go ahead and hit up those other sales, though. Also, it's fun to see my progression from my first Ollie's video to now! I get so jealous of americans when they do book hauls and shopping vlogs because they have such easy access to cheap books in english- aghhh my uruguayan self gets so sad

Paiging Through awww thanks for replying! I don’t really read any national or regional literature apart from some books for school (should probably do though) so no recommendations here😅 But looking forward to my next vacation there to grab some new books to help me practice my english!

Same here in my city there is no library and in other cities I can't go because of transportation in my country that kingdom of ashes is 20 dollars and you have 3 dollars I'm literally crying 😭😭😭
Same! I feel that in latinoamerican countrys its súper dificult be a reader because the prices are so high!!! Its make me a Little bit sad that they have librarys everywhere and can buy originals books because in my city are only 1 decent Library and its súper expensive. Love from Chile, sorry if my english its bad im starting to speak properly the lenguage.

I can think of one site that you can search for particular titles and they are second hand books. Downside you need to have particular titles in mind to search for I like to see in person a book read the synopsis (which we do have charity shops in the uk) but it's just luck what people hand in. So it's no surprise I find myself watching videos like yours for inspiration
We have The Works. I think that’s the closest to this type of store, they just don’t seem to be as big. X

Yo, ya other girl is also broke that's why I try to thrift as much as I can! But it is fun to see the more posh, private bookstores occasionally.
The amount of books in this Ollie's is amazing

I had honestly never really explored Ollie’s books before until this video came into my recommended. I decided to head there on Monday and see if I could find Strange Weather. I was unable to find it, but I left with Once Upon A River because I recognized it from watching this video. I was also intrigued by the beautiful cover. Long story short, I just finished the novel and I really enjoyed it. It was a beautiful mix of stories that were all interwoven and connected because of the River Thames. I’m so glad I saw your video and I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did!

I had to stop your video four minutes in to go to Ollie's. Got 6 books for $15! Then went to two different Half Price Books and spent even more money. And I'm waiting on a Book Outlet order. I have a problem.

@@PaigingThrough I got the 'His Fair Assassin' trilogy by Robin Lafevers, 'The Last Days of New Paris' by China Mieville, 'Lord of Shadows' by Cassandra Clare, and 'No True Echo' by Gareth P. Jones, which is the only one I had never heard of or read. Hopefully I'll like it! And, yeah, I suppose it could be considered a gift, until I go overboard. I'm gonna have to go on a book buying ban for *at least* a month.
I am indonesian. Believe me, none will download pirated ebooks if the prices of the books r like those in ur video. We have to do it illegally because english books r super expensive in my country. If u r not stephen king nor james patterson there is almost no chance that ur books would be translated.
I completely understand! That's terrible. I wish there were more translations being produced. I feel like reading could be so much more popular around the world.

Omg 3 dollars :o seriously considering moving to America right now just so that I can buy more books at those prices. This is seriously insane. The most we get in Europe is a discount of 10-15%. And second hand shops don’t even have English books most of the time. So happy to see people out there do get great deals though!

Paiging Through haha yeah I definitely should move! Though I honestly think my bank account won’t be able to handle that. I’m so bad at passing on deals so I would buy way too much books haha. And I live in Belgium! There aren’t many book stores that sell English books and when they do the offer is laughable so I can’t even be bothered to go into stores anymore. Book depository is the only way unfortunately :)

Dude Ollie's is the shiz. I go all the time and I get so excited when they have new YA. Ours is kind of small but I"m still glad we have it. We used to have Big Lots and they don't have books.
I have all the 'Haunthing of Sunshine Girl' books and I agree I don't really like it, but it's better if you watch her youtube videos to understand most of the things in there. To me it got better around like the middle but that's just my opnion.
I've been meaning to watch her videos! I do feel like they would be better translated on video. I'll check it out

A great little book about life that is a funny. thought provoking, and an easy read is "What To Do When The Wheels Come Off" I love your channel and I really think you would enjoy this book. I think it is an instant classic. It's may still be available on Amazon. Let me know what you think.

Well you can get any english book you want as ebook from german amazon. And often they are super cheap, real good popular books starting from 1 or 2€. I buy them all the time.
Only really buy books at ollies and goodwill.

nice library you have, i like urban fantasy i am reading a series called chicagoland vampires, i don't know if you like vampire books but i love this series by chloe neil, i tried finding an ollie's near where i live but there is none plus this is the first time i had ever head of ollie's
