Hi Ellie, don't know if you remember me but I was looking for a subscription and came across yours which I added in covid for your beautiful singing, saw you had done some solo travelling and I have been watching lots of vlogs lately on travel as I want to travel the world so thought I'd give it a watch. Loved it but when you cried it made me sad, you are such a beautiful soul and you radiate like an angel but you constantly beat yourself up... Also, you don't need a guy , the universe keeps tbe best ones single, know why, because when the world is silent you can hear your soul, you don't need external distraction, you will have inspired so many by solo travelling. Never underestimate the impact you have on people. Just keep being you, Iv recently got back from Greece with my daughter and having social anxiety was a massive test but I passed with flying colours and it was so liberating. You can do anything you want. Life's too short not to. Remember nothing happens by chance, you will meet your guy when you least expect it and you won't have to try, it will happen effortlessly. Helloooo ! So I’m going on a solo holiday to mainland Spain in just over a week. I’m 28 and in a relationship ! I think the trick to not feeling lonely is keeping busy - as much as holidays are about relaxing . is there any activities / sports .games there for adults or excursions which could naturally start that conversation with someone ? . But also - as much as a holiday romance is lovely - your own company / the company of an older friendly couple / gay couple or single traveller could be way more meaningful then a potential holiday fling xxx just enjoy the moments on your own and keep yourself busy 🥰 solo holidays after all are about being a strong independent ladddy 🥰

This might sound a bit out there but ever thought about staying in a hostel? It sounds crazy sharing rooms with strangers but I’ve done it many times and that’s how I’ve made friends on solo holidays! Never once had a bad experience in a hostel! You could even get a private room in a hostel coz some do have them if you want your own space! And you’ll be surprised how many other solo travellers you’ll meet and they are all looking for company on a holiday! Plus most hostels are aimed at people aged 18-35 ish! eating alone in the restaurant is hard, i wasn't even alone alone, my sis her hubby and my niece were on holiday with me in a different hotel, and i had a boyfriend at home, but i still felt uncomfortable, i took a book to read with my food but ppl near me would talk to me to keep me company which was very nice i went to europe a few times alone in my 20's, skiing holidays in the winter but i booked with a local ski club so i was with other singles and i had a blast i'm in my 50's now and although my memory has faded, i still remember the good feelings (and i have photos) i'm going to book a self catering apartment for next yr, that way i don't have to eat alone in hotel restaurant x 3 per day, i can just chill on the balcony, i'm on a strict diet and could lose a few pounds, middle age spread is real lol also the shopping and cooking will keep me busy, give me things to do, i love walking so i'm going to have to find a place with mile after mile of sandy beaches like costa derada or costa del sol etc you're super inspiring! ty

Wasnt going to lose all that money.. ended up staying on the balcony room service ..too much male attention if wondered off.😘

i truly really enjoy living alone [i'm in my 50's], i'm not alone or broken, i have family & friends, i love having my own space but when i was younger i felt A LOT OF pressure to partner up it was a great weight off my shoulders to just say eff it, and quit tryna impress men who don't have any empathy for my reality imho most men are sexists/misogynists/gynophobes/closetgay
I've been away by myself three times. It's good to get away. You can just do what you want with no one arguing and stopping you from pulling.
