Hank is the star of the show. However brilliant the narrative from you two is.......Hank is very talkative without words. Dom had to carry him for a bit on that beach. Hank's expression transcribed: "What the f*ck! Put me down, you moron. I have four legs instead of your miserable two and I run four times your speed." Great vlog...keep them coming.

I wanted to know how you 12x scope worked in ‘the blow’ 🙃 But you are absolutely right; the chain is doing nothing in the locker, so why not chuck it out and have the additional peace of mind. And as always, another _beautifully_ produced episode, certainly of broadcast quality, but then, it always is 😊

They have been drilling a geothermal well at Eden down into the Granite at a great depth to provide heat for the facilities and to heat the tropical biomes in the colder months.
Interesting asides the ATG Airlander Airships may require modern hangers for assembly and servicing
Up in Yourkshire as they have vacated Cardington .
The double glazed space frame buble domes of the Eden progect could provide the best cheapest and quickest solution to house the new 50 Tonne payload hybrid leviathans they plan to build beyond 10 Tonne present model.

When you said tropical I thought it might be Trebah gardens on the Helford. A sub tropical garden that goes right down the the river - you could approach by dinghy. Also possibly of interest to Dom as it was restored by a veteran of Dunkirk & Operation Market Garden (Arnhem) Major Tony Hibbert- I know Dom was involved with a Dunkirk little ship, so I thought this might be of interest.

@@CadohaAdventures My name is Kieron and I was heading to Somerset (train) to see my brother's family.
WhatsApp storm Ciaran coming comments in the run up.
Part of the "west country carnival" (Wikipedia).
Great boozy carnival weekend where they literally narrowly avoid serious public injuries or burning the town down every year.
Look up squibbing to find this particular one. The biggest and maddest.
Squibbing is the insanity that happens after loads and loads of incredibly massive floats called "carts" are pulled through the town by huge tractors.
Apparently Guy Fawkes came from there.
Somerset's north coast looks interesting but the nearest marina to this is Watchet, apparently totally silted up. Hinckley Point is to the east.
      Westwards though, look promising.
Cadoha's scout team needed. Any plans for Bristol/Cardiff?

You can thank central heating for the climate related death fall, because many more did and still do, die from the cold than the heat.
That however might change in next half century.
Still, loved Eden but haven't made it there myself yet.

It really is an incredible place. I think the context of the talk I was listening to was in terms of natural disasters and our ability to forecast more accurately, build safeguards, and mitigate the worst aspects much better than we could in the past.
The guy giving the talk was the director of the Danish government's Environmental Assessment Institute in Copenhagen and it was refreshing to think about what we’re capable of achieving when dealing with a changing world, rather than the helpless doom and gloom which is relentless and no doubt contributes to young peoples depression and feelings of hopelessness, he actually engaged the part of the brain that said hey, we have challenges, but we’re also great at problem solving as a species too.

    • @CadohaAdventures
      @CadohaAdventures  11 месяцев назад +3

Perhaps I am naive, I always thought the war in Syria was ideological, due to a movement of people who wanted to try and live in democratic world when in reality, Islam is fundamentally anti-democratic and so an inevitable conflict erupted between the Islamic establishment and the fledgling democrats.
      Every day's a school day I guess. 👌🏼
