Unlocking Spirit Pulse, Celestial Wave And Sign of Awakening New Skills For Ultra Instinct Goku In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2!
The NEW Ultra Instinct Sign Goku skills are already easily unlockable for Ultra Instinct Goku and some of them are really weak on him and others are actually bad on him while 1 of them is some pure OP goodness that he's been needing!

Spirit Pulse was a little underwhelming
Celestial wave however looks so cool I'd probably use it just for that reason.
Sign of Awakening is just way too good to pass up and definitely hope it will be available for our CaCs

@@dassandavis5507 in my opinion, its a better combo tool unless it has a lot of endlag, it does about the same damage as 2 soaring fists which has longer charge up than spirit pulse alone.
nvm i saw it used against super 17, that damage was awful because he didnt have his super soul active. though it might be really strong if you have a ki blast cac
I don't know if it's strike or ki based yet, but Spirit Pulse seems very similar to Blaster Bomb from Kefla.

I'm not gonna a lie, I was a tiny bit disappointed with spirit pulse, but then again maybe I was just using it wrong or something. I was testing it out earlier this morning, that and the other two, and so far the most exciting is the ultimate since it works on knockbacks.

It's weird they didn't give him the new flip counter considering that's...something mastered ui does and not sign.
That's exactly what I was thinking. They gave him all the ui sign moves and even a non cannon move. But they didn't even get the only move that mui Goku actually uses
I don't think Celestial Wave is good on this preset of UI, but if say. Custom Partner UI Goku happens, then yes I could see this being a good evasive?
Should've just gave UI a custom preset. It'd make more sense to put that evasive on an endurance type with more stamina.

It's kinda bad, especially since both UI Goku's have only 6 bars of stamina

Sign of awakaning is a pretty interesting ult as long as the distance between you and your target is not insane it will absolutely catch works with MUI's full triangle combo and even his full square granted you they have to be a certain distance for that one

Wish they gave him the vanilla Kamehameha instead of Divine Kamehameha, just a worse move to me, 2 bars for half the damage and can't even do it's main gimmick unless you get the counter version, like don't get me wrong it looks cool, but vanilla Kamehameha is just objectively better.

The only disappointing thing about this dlc I see is ui sign ultimate, it would have been way cooler if you spend an additional ki for the back flip into the Superman punch. But hey, that would make sense.
Also if mui goku somehow gets customizable, you already know people that main that GOD is gonna put the sign ultimate with soaring fist and whatever good skill he has and have a’lot of stamina

I think spirit pulse is just a faster long range soaring fist but the cost is damage.
Apparently Corona is not a match ultra instinct.
5:10 so unless I’m missing something as he tries to hit while that move was still going, you didn’t even take stamina damage. Another plus for the move.

Ui doesn't need better evasives considering he manually evades as is and if you get caught in a combo that's on you. I think it's better he uses up so much especially with the stamina regen he has
I would use the third preset but the evasive and the fact that he still has Meteor crash is BS. It also doesn’t help when PS4 players still don’t have the Update currently wtf

I think Celestial Wave is a good Evasive, just ironically not for MUI. He doesn't have the Stamina to stay safe after using it just twice or the Health to endure the resulting beating if caught with no Stamina and get Stamina Broken. However, the reason I say it is a good Evasive is because the i-frames seem similar to things like Spirit Explosion, which is a solid Evasive but, more importantly, THE DAMAGE. 0:49-0:51 Look how much damage it does for being an EVASIVE! You could very easily finish off melee rushers with that. And people with Health around it's kill range will be more hesitant to just rush in as you could easily dust them off unless they have some kinda plan. In a meta way, it keeps you safe even when not used. It makes your opponent wonder if they should risk a reasonable chuck of their Health just to get your Stamina down. God help you if it is a Ki Evasive and a Female Saiyan tags you with it.

Also also, way ahead of you, Steedoj. Being the Kamehameha Simp I am, the very second I saw Sign of Awakening in the trailer during Conton City TV, was going for it. It is Final Galick Rush but a Kamehameha...and probably better. So why wouldn't I? 😅
Also also also, can't wait for him to try GT Vegeta. Not only are his combos the most Vegeta in the game (you'll see what I mean) but his Shield Barrier (love the redundant name) makes you immune to Ki Stuns. True, so does Hakai Armor but unlike Hakai Armor, Shield Barrier can be equipped to CaCs. So.
Also reminder that hakai armor seems to not work if your attacking while it looks like vegeta's does (would make sense, one is an attack slot one isnt.)
@@guideoftheriver7112 Actually it does. For Basic attacks at least, Hakai Armor will still block ki blast during basic attacks. Testing it as we speak. Either way, I simply meant in terms of what they both have in common. I was also alluding to Vegeta's being better anyway.

I hope his Ultimate becomes a buyable skill for CaC's, if that happens it will be easier to beat ki cancellers online because of the defensive capabilities of moving away and doing damage to those that snap vanish afterwards.

UI sign will have around 2.4 health bars 6 bars of stamina and new combo strings the stamina break will be if I remember is in the xyxy combo

after playing with the update a little, I noticed that the five custom partners that were added (GT Goku, Omega, Jiren, Kefla, and Buuhan) all got their own dual ultimates!
They really made a reskin of crush cannon and kales ult and thought that was new skill worthy I can’t with Bandai anymore lmao

the punch is definitely faster than soaring fist, maybe not in terms of startup time (slightly) but it almost instantly gets to its max range unlike soaring fist which has travel time, and has a much further range meaning it can be just put out in neutral.

i think that super 17 had your number but then he started hesitating and let you start all the skirmishes. He was beating your ass then he started retreating and hesitating even when he was behind you with a full combo at his disposal. Idk if he noticed your name, or if he suddenly became respectful of what MUI is capable of, but something got in his head.

Three bar evasive, with 6 bars total... it would honestly depend on the character's stamina regen speed, as well as how often the player ends up in situations where they need to use an evasive. However, considering this is MUI Goku, I don't think it's the best. It looks amazing, however the fact that MUI uses stamina with the auto dodge, and the fact that stamina is so valuable with how frail he is, the evasive is not the best.
Getting the update on my Switch as I'm watching this, not sure if I want to buy Online again just to get the customization keys and possibly other stuff.
Is there a way to get that evasive attack for you’r cac?

I got all the new keys and the fact they gave my man ssj4 gogeta ssbe super final flash is nuts he's probably the biggest winner then it's tied to baby and goku black (he pretty much got all Rose's moves bar his ult so like why play him when base is so much better lmao) but not only that but he has technical type combined with rose ss...he might be new best base goku, vegeta imo is probably the worst, ssg goku also the only custom base goku with ki blast cannon so that's wild

Base Goku Black has aura slide and regular kamehameha, making him the best one imo

Base goku black has some nice additions that now make rose just irrelevant lmao super god fist death wave and slash, sudden storm darkness twin star means hes just cancer to fight against and he can save himself, VERY good stat choices base vegetas ki blast super type A, strike super type c for cocaine base damage and strikes AND technical type B combined with Rose's ss and hes basically a female majin when stamina broken
