If people queue up with Even Shaman in Casuals, I judge a little because, even though they're free to play whatever they want, they could have played that in Ranked with no difference in their performance.
I think a lot of people have trouble seeing this from other peoples perspective.
-Some people have rank anxiety, or just enjoy the game less when rank is on the line. They still want to play meta decks or w.e but queue in the unranked mode because thats how they have fun.
-Some people want to learn a deck in casual first before they try it out in ranked. That way they have an understanding of the deck before they play with something on the line.
-Some people have quests to complete and they use casual to get them out of the way. Maybe Even Shaman is the only deck you have that will complete your class quest, but you stopped playing it in ranked cause you kept queuing into Shudderwock Shaman and getting recked.
There are a ton of reasons to queue good decks in casual. I think people get tripped up on the name. It’s not the “not meta deck” mode, it’s just not ranked. What really gets me about people judging their opponents for their casual deck choice is its actually *the best mode* to queue into something you don’t like, cause there’s nothing on the line. Just concede if you dont like your opponent and find someone you actually want to play against.
@@MartianBuu All valid reasons, and I don't get to enforce what people play anyway.
However, something I never really accepted or enjoyed in Hearthstone was the notion of instant conceding because the deck is either too frustrating to face or an unwinnable matchup.
Hearthstone should feel engaging to play without relying on that feature too often. That's just me though.
Then don’t concede 👍 you are the master of your own preferences and it is not on your opponent to cater to them.
