It's all about how rider take it. People doing high speed crusing on Duke's and other nakeds without wind screen. Yeah but it's good to have wind screen to avoid unwanted tiredness
I am just 5 feet 7 inch and feel wind buffeting with or without the helmet. Best solution, remove the damn thing and have the wind blast full on rather than just your head.
I have been riding BS4 version since 2 years and I have no major complaints. It's just awesome. I ride it continuous off-road as I am from Himalayan regions @ Sikkim. No issues at all.
The wind buffeting (as you said) depends on the height of the person mainly.. The type of helmet the rider uses also affect the buffeting.. Fully curved helmet will have no issues.. I used a similar one which you are using now, I face the helmet lifting affect.. Later came to know the problem is with the helmet and shifted to regular helmet (curved).. Problem resolved..
I am a Himalayan owner and I disagree with most of the reviewers including this reviewer. You should not choose Himalayan over Xpulse for highway touring only because of power. Himalayan cruises around 90 km/h (sweet spot) and most 200 cc bikes including Xpulse cruises at that speed. The advantage Himalayan has is its weight. It feels rock stable on Highways, (like a train) and impervious to windblast from speeding 4-wheelers, which is not the case with Xpulse. In the city, obviously like everyone else says, Xpulse is a better bike, easy to handle and easier on pocket.
You make the best reviews I have ever seen. Even better than Faisal Khan and any other big channels like AutoCar India. Keep making these kind of videos
Two things that you might have talked about this motorcycle: (a) it has tubed tyre. So, on an event of a puncture how to tackle the situation as pushing this 200 kg mass (without luggage mass) would be impossible. Have you tried pushing the bike after taking the air out of rear wheel? Just try it and you would know what I mean. (b) As there is no kick starter and it is entirely dependent on battery to crank the engine, the health of the battery, connections and RR unit (which charges the battery) are crucial. It becomes more crucial during winter mornings. So, how to ensure that these components are working well and won't disappoint you in the middle of a long ride?
@@amitkrupal1234 Thanks for your reply. Can you please forward the name and contact details of the shop/online store where the alloy rims for Himalayan are available?
