    What’s your favourite brand for makeup brushes? 🤔

    • @disco_life
      @disco_life Год назад

      My favorite brand is Sigma; I own around 60 brushes in my kit. Their new brushes have Solid Polymer-Based handles. Paint cracking or flaking does not happen, and they do not use glue. So they clean like a dream with no shedding. I refuse to use wooden brushes. I noticed you didn't mention them. 💜💜💜

      @@disco_life ohh that sounds really good, I’ve never tried Sigma brushes. I’m really curious about the no glue thing, that’s super convenient!

      @@frenchiemakeup Oh, I forgot to mention. They are also Water Proof! 💦 with a 2-Year Warranty. (I only buy during the Semi-Annual Sale. 50% off. They have frequent sales, sometimes a BOGO sale and a Black Friday Sale. Don't pay the full price, and don't buy the older wooden Sigma brushes).💜

    The only Morphe brushes i liked were the Jaclyn Hill collection brushes (white handle) and actually the Ariel brushes (beige pointy handle) are good too.

      I also have a bunch of the Jaclyn Hill collection and quite liked them, but after using them for a couple of years they are really starting to look sad, when my brushes from other brands are still holding up. Still not too bad for the price point!

    I have had some of my bdellium studio series (yellow) brushes have the paint crack and flake off really quickly. I love the brushes themselves so I'm keeping them until I can upgrade to a higher quality series. Rephrase brushes are definitely worth the price especially since they often offer discounted pricing and have really good sales!

      Yeah I’m not really surprised, I’m not expecting the studio brushes to last for a long time… I’ve had so many people telling me about Rephr, I’ll definitely check them out next time they’re having a sale!!

    SPECTRUM only have the 11 JHL collection now is a shame, I like that big set

      Oh nooooo! The big set was so good 😭 I’m sure the small one is worth is too, but it’s not the same!

      @@frenchiemakeup Yes I looking the other set but the bristles don't look good

      The 11 brushes set from KJH? I believe it’s the exact same brushes as in the big one 🙂

    • @Lemonade_Stand_

      They bring back the big set sometimes. I think they must just sell out fast. Their other brushes are good too, i have a few sets now and really like the pantherine collection. The disney collections are cute too but i admit that they may not be the most professional for doing makeup on clients (i mean i personally wouldnt care but some people are weird).

      @@frenchiemakeup I find them to be totally worth it. I purchased their eye set during a sale along with 2 face brushes and I always reach for them first. I will be slowly adding more. Watch for sale!

      Oh yeah? I love the way they look, so clean 👌🏻 I’ll definitely keep an eye on it, and will give them a try when I have the occasion!

      @@frenchiemakeup Theyre good but as with most fude brushes (these are like lower end fude) they have shorter handles so you may not like them. That being said if you're wanting to dip your toes into fude brushes or even natural hair brushes then rephr is a good place to start. They have sales pretty often, pricing is in USD but thankfully no duties.

      Hi! I’ve never tried them, but in my mind they’re very similar to Zoeva… Do you like them?

      @claudiarbmermayd1195 Год назад

      @@frenchiemakeup I've never tried Zoeva. I used to use some generic brushes from QVC (home shopping) but i decided to try Sigma since many influencers say good things about it. They are very soft and easy to blend.

      @@claudiarbmermayd1195 That’s right, so many influencers used to promote it! That’s maybe why I was never really tempted to try them 🤭 Have you been using them for a while?

      @@frenchiemakeup yes, I've been using them for over a year. I've tried to find the flaw, but I can't. They're just well-made. :)
