I love how the chaotic middle portion of pigstep is a bit harsh and even slightly unpleasant sounding because it makes the relief melody at the end pop.
Apocalyptic! Glorious in that horrific, eldritch, neutral sense of the word, glorious as in dark, as in unstoppable, as in the march of a great host of enemies, full of pure glory, but none of it is kindly or good. I adore the instrumental overtones and the undertones woven into this remix, it really elevates Pigstep to an iconic piece of musical art.

You hear angry snorts and snarls fill the bastion, piglins swarm around you, ignoring their own well being stepping on their drowning brother's heads through the lava to reach you, you draw your sword blazing with magical energy and start hacking through the magma cubes closing in on you, you feel something grab your ankle, you kick the piglin grabbing you into the lava, you take another step forward driving your blade deep into a magma cube in front of you tripping through the large ruined exit of the bastion, getting to your feet you find that you've exited into a soul sand valley, immediately arrows fired by skeletons start raining onto you, you jump forward several piglins that had finally reached you being impaled by arrows, fireballs fired from ghasts bombard the battlefield, the ghouls and monsters begin fighting amongst themselves as from a distant fortress blackened charred skeletons pour over the walls swords raised, fires erupt from the tower as blazes drift towards the carnage releasing volleys of fireballs, large hoglins charge towards the battle from the the crimson forest on your left, endermen eyes blazing teeth bared sprint in on the battle from the warped forest on your right, you frantically eat the single enchanted apple you have, but your moment of feeling rejuvenated is shattered by the sight of a wither skeleton's head falling in line with 2 others, in an earth shattering explosion, A wither is born.
As the Blood God once said, “Tommy, the thing is you’re using words, but the thing about this world Tommy is that the only universal language is violence. We’ve had that conversation, we’ve spoken that language. In the pit. It’s over Tommy. Onto a new day. A new plot. To destroy Manberg.”
