- Hello everybody! I'm back!
Wanted to make this remix for a while and recently I started a new Minecraft world and instantly got addicted again! After all those new updates (haven't properly played since 1.12.2.) it felt like a totally new game to me and I kinda felt the same charm like I did back then, when I played the game for the very first time!
This inspired me to finally finish this remix, because the half-finished project of this song was lying around on my harddrive for ages and today I decided to not only finish the song , but make the video and upload it to my channel all in 1 day and a few hours and guitar solos later, here we go!
I really hope you enjoy my rendition of this rather new Minecraft soundtrack. I really enjoyed making it!!

I love how the chaotic middle portion of pigstep is a bit harsh and even slightly unpleasant sounding because it makes the relief melody at the end pop.

Apocalyptic! Glorious in that horrific, eldritch, neutral sense of the word, glorious as in dark, as in unstoppable, as in the march of a great host of enemies, full of pure glory, but none of it is kindly or good. I adore the instrumental overtones and the undertones woven into this remix, it really elevates Pigstep to an iconic piece of musical art.

How it feels creating the most overkill tool in Tinker's Construct:
You hear angry snorts and snarls fill the bastion, piglins swarm around you, ignoring their own well being stepping on their drowning brother's heads through the lava to reach you, you draw your sword blazing with magical energy and start hacking through the magma cubes closing in on you, you feel something grab your ankle, you kick the piglin grabbing you into the lava, you take another step forward driving your blade deep into a magma cube in front of you tripping through the large ruined exit of the bastion, getting to your feet you find that you've exited into a soul sand valley, immediately arrows fired by skeletons start raining onto you, you jump forward several piglins that had finally reached you being impaled by arrows, fireballs fired from ghasts bombard the battlefield, the ghouls and monsters begin fighting amongst themselves as from a distant fortress blackened charred skeletons pour over the walls swords raised, fires erupt from the tower as blazes drift towards the carnage releasing volleys of fireballs, large hoglins charge towards the battle from the the crimson forest on your left, endermen eyes blazing teeth bared sprint in on the battle from the warped forest on your right, you frantically eat the single enchanted apple you have, but your moment of feeling rejuvenated is shattered by the sight of a wither skeleton's head falling in line with 2 others, in an earth shattering explosion, A wither is born.
It sounds like a sick boss fight track!

2:43 reminds me kind of when Anakin and Obiwan hit and holded Each others lightsaber on mustafar and you get that epic cinematic shot where the lava Goes up (when theyr standing on the wire)
Longest 3 minute 30 seconds I've listened to. 0-60 out of no where with the guitar and orpan combo! Another great execution Andreas

Minecraft movie soundtrack dropped early
This sounds like the music for the ending scene of a prequel movie where the dark lord is ascending the throne after vanquishing his opposition.
This makes me fell like it is the end of the world and the chances of survival are mathematically zero, but somehow there is still hope.

This is genuinely one of my favourite remixes, not quite heroic, like a battle with the odds stacked against the protagonist, like a bubbling fear that maybe they won't come out on top in the end.. but god dammit if they won't give everything they have to turn the tides of the battle in their favor.
