Wow! Inflation has increased these cabins a whole lot. However, they are in much better shape than when we stayed in them in 1984. We actually had booked a hotel room for one night. The campground was free, so we traded in our hotel room for I think 3 or 4 nights in the Namakanipaio Campground cabins. We wound up staying 17 nights in the park all total. We sneaked showers when camping & showers come with the cabin rentals, but you have to get up early or the hot water would be gone. In those days, we made a bunch pf friends at the hotel fireplace. Now they have the seating arranged so that it is hard to make friends by the fire. It was lovely. Oh-btw: don't bother eating at the hotel. No great shakes.
Thanks for the info, you have made a great video 😊
