Omg Keisha I just remembered our age difference when you said "apparently back in the day they could smoke indoors". 😂 😂 😂 Yes ma'am that was a thing. Even sold cigarettes out of vending machines inside those bars sometimes. I could imagine the stress on your hair on a set. Even if they are placing you in wigs to accommodate the scene. I used to hate being in smoky places because it lingered in my hair, on my skin, and in my clothes and I don't smoke.
I was thinking the same thing about smoking indoors. I have been in the medical field for over 30years. I remember the doctors and nurses smoking in the break rooms. Your locs are GORGEOUS!! Yes! TLC! You should’ve told him you can style and curl your hair as well. I was one of those people who had locs in the 90s.im on my third journey (2022). My first started in 1996.
Lmbo! Was thinking the same thing! Like, wow, am I old? I remember NYC banned indoor smoking in early 2000s. I’m from Chicago and when I was visiting, NYC had the ban in 2003 but Chicago didn’t. You can still smoke indoors in Indiana. I know you can at their casinos at least. Not sure about other public places. But there were smoking and non-smoking sections in restaurants not that long ago.
While I can appreciate your POV, I also know for a fact that there is an anti-blk natural hair agenda in major motion pictures. I worked in Hollywood for 3 years and is a real thing, unless it’s a specific script/story that’s focus is a ‘Blk story. I love your videos, and you’ve helped me to take good care of my locs..
Wow, the hairstylist was ignorant for implying that locs weren't a "thing" in the 90s. Let's see: Jesus had locs 🤷🏾♀️...Bob Marley had locs in the 70s, Stevie Wonder has had locs since the 70s. Then, Maxine on Living Single, Whoopi, Tracy Chapman, Lisa Bonnet, Lenny Kravitz, Wyclef, Busta Rhymes...and, of course, our Queen of Locs.....Lauryn Hill! Anyhow, your locs are gorgeous and your makeup is 🔥. Thank you for the great tips and the transparency. 🫶🏾
Hello Keisha Charmaine, do you have a video on retwisting and washing hair? I want to start retwisting my hair the salon is getting expensive to me now.
Yes the experience taught me which roles to take and which ones to decline as a background actor. They put BG actors through the wringer sometimes but I am grateful for the experiences.

Lmaooo yeah if it weren’t for tv and movies (or casinos) I wouldn’t know that. It’s gross!

Thank you so much! It was really strange that he implied that, he was about 60 and should remember the 90’s much better than me.
Locs are a thing so there needs to be a loc specialist on set for us!

Hello Keisha! I would like to buy more of your head wraps. Unfortunately I can't find them on your website. Do you still sale them?
Hi love, I have the infinity headwraps which I show towards the end of the video.
@@KeishaCharmaine I'm interested in the regular wraps.
Did you fire 🔥 him forever?
My favorite movie is probably Clueless.
It is anti blackness because hair stylists should be educated on all types of hair. That guy was rude
You’re still on set honey. You wanted to be an actress that’s who you are.
