I’ve seen the japanese dub, and Vegeta did say he’ll never fight again. But that was only because he thought that Goku had died, so he pretty much gave up on surpassing him. But when Goku returned, that pretty much stirred up his old feelings of wanting to be better than him. Also he’s only back for a day, which is why he wants to take his only chance to defeat him.
That and he wanted the power boost after seeing what it did for babidis henchmen because he seen how much more powerful Goku was when he fought against yakon and knew he didn't stand a chance if they fought.
@@KAR5AVATARGT ur right but if u listen around the part in the fight with Goku, Vegeta says he makes up his mind to let babidis take control of him to awaken the evil in his heart but he also said he noticed the difference in babidis henchmen strength and power after he took control of them. Like how Mr Satan fought spopovich (I think that's how it's spelled) and he beat him down with almost no effort but spopovich easily beat videl whom was way stronger than her dad on many levels.

I know its kinda corny and a cliche thjng to say but I learned a lot from watching dragon ball a it was my first anime besides sailor moon and I never really got into sailor moon as deep as I did with dbz and it taught me some pretty good lessons that’s I’ve took in life. Like to not give up, work hard everyday at the things you want in life also the importance of teamwork and friendships through harsh trials etc. even with naruto when I was growing up and living on my own watching these anime taught me life lessons and helped push me to pass my limits and to be strong in life. A lot of people are not strong and break down in life depending on their situation but if they had a little anime background they might have learned some valuable lessons as well and could of used them to push themselves or whatever they get from the anime. Surprisingly enough most anime’s do have some interesting concepts and outlooks on life, again I know its a cartoon but some stuff in these shows can be profound depending how you view it.

Not only that but the “now’s your chance!” From the fight with cell in the Japanese version was “do it now!!” Gohan always had the power to beat cell even when he came back and was super perfect cell. Which is why when Gohan finally unleashed his power it blew him away literally. That was the one and only time Gohan went max power against cell everything up to that point was him toying with cell.
You guys hit the nail on the head. Vegeta's problem is and always has been is his pride in the Sayain race and the entitlement of his own inflated ego. The way Goku acts and his strength as a fighter contrasts Vegeta and flies in the face of everything Vegeta believes in.
I ain't gon front but this is the definite fight for me in all of DBZ. Two Saiyans dukin it out and what's crazy you can almost feel the shockwaves from every strike. I'm bless to have made it this far with you guys
True. But Vegeta didn't beat him here either. It's like saying your kid brother beat you in smash when he threw you off the stage, and you didn't jump back up... Goku wasn't going all in, so this one can't be counted anyway.
There's no feeling like experiencing this for the first time. And experiencing Madisons first time watching this makes me wish I could experience it for the first time again
7:35 This was pretty much all I could think about waiting for the next episode in through high school. I'm definitely reliving it, too, through Maddison lol
What I find interesting is how Vegeta says it was Goku who avenged the Saiyans by defeating Frieza, but forgets it was his own son, [Future] Trunks, who killed Frieza
Funnily enough, Vegeta did technically beat Goku already in their first fight. Goku was incapacitated on the ground. It was Gohan, Krillin and Yajirobe team effort that won in the end. But Goku was definitely defeated.
If you look deeper into the matter, Vegeta 's upset because Goku's accomplishments and victories, glorified the Saiyan race. Vegeta is the Prince of Saiyans! He was supposed to not only lead the race into a new age, but was to become the legendary SSJ and finally defeat Freeza. He failed to do all of the above. None of that stuff matters to Goku, which only angers Vegeta more. He needs to win to salvage whatever is left of his old identity.
As Vegeta said, he only ever had himself to believe in, his father died very early on in his life and never really developed a healthy relationship with him and never learned how to act properly, and to make matters worse he then he lived as a slave to frieza, the man that took his father and his people away from him , always obeying orders and never really living and forming healthy bonds with others, always in fear that he would die at the hands of the man who killed his father and enslaved his people, its understandable that Goku avenging the sayians would leave Vegeta bitter and hating his own lack of strength, which is what he always had to fall back on, its everything that he was, and his self worth/identity kept getting shattered each time Goku and then his child won and not him. He's a very complex character that you really can empathize with as an adult.
Goku has never clearly beat Vegeta in a one-on-one battle. The first time they mixed it up, it was Krillin, Gohan and Yajirobe that actually beat Vegeta.
The thing is, Vegeta had to transform into an Oozaru to win. I think in his mind, that made him the loser because he had to resort to something that's supposed to destroy civilizations, not just one guy.
@ErevanTheGamer That's like saying Freiza transforming from his second form to his 3rd form makes him a loser? When Piccolo fused with Nail and was handing Freiza's his ass, didn't Freiza resort to transforming to his 3rd form? The only difference is the physical size of each transformation. What about when Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan? Did that make him a loser, too, since he had to resort to that? Stop moving the goal post.
@@asero021584 I never said that's what I thought, just that's what Vegeta might think. Otherwise, why would he consider he lost, when he clearly won. Before telling me to stop moving the goal post, learn to read by the way. Nowhere I said it's my opinion or that it was a fact.
Madison is right. Defeating Goku won't change the past. It will only please Vegeta's ego. The thing about his ego, like his saiyan pride, is something that people kept feeding up his whole life, to the point that denying it would be denying himself. He has to be the strongest. He has to be the best. He has to be the number one. Otherwise, why even living anymore?
I feel like most people misunderstand something. Goku has never beaten vegeta in a fight. Vegeta’s grudge against him is that goku has surpassed him in strength and power, but he has never won a fight against vegeta.
Actually correction baris. He never lost to Goku. Goku was never able to beat him. If Gohan and krillin didn't come, Goku was gonna be crushed to death. Also Vegeta did say he wasn't gonna fight again. But he kept training. Only when he found out Goku was coming back did he want to really fight again and he also has something to fight for which was his family

People tend to give the Buu Saga a lot of criticism, and not for no reason, as it does have obvious flaws that are more apparent as the Arc progresses. BUT - one aspect it absolutely NAILS is Animation. The Buu Saga throughout has some of the best Animation in DBZ. I recall someone once calling Goku an unstoppable force, and Vegeta an immovable object.
Truthfully Vegeta should be proud though of one thing it wasnt goku who killed frieza ....It was his Son( Trunks) who killed frieza and king cold . His legacy and his people is avenged through the actions of the son of the prince of saiyans .... Vegata' s Honor and Justice gained back to him.

Vegeta to Goku: "Every breath you take, every move you make, every bond you break, every step you take...I'll be watching you...Oh can't you see, you belong to me, my poor heart aches, with every step you take...."
I checked the manga. Vegeta DOES say he will never fight again. I think it was more that with Goku dead he could forget about his shame to some extent but once Goku came back everything came rushing back for him.
To be honest, I think the fandom is a bit too hard on Vegeta. Yes, his perspectives of his life are extremely counterproductive and it does hold him back, but put yourself in his shoes for a moment. Just as he said, he was brought up to believe it was his destiny to become the first super saiyan in a thousand years and avenge his people by defeating Frieza. That mentality was hard wired into his head with an almost religious fervour. You could see it on Namek after Dende healed him. When he faced Frieza for the final time, there was a gleam in his eyes. His destiny was at hand. And to have that stripped away and be stomped into the mud and be replaced by Goku, I can only imagine how hurt he must have been. And ever since, he was practically ignored by everyone and surpassed at every turn. The kind of anger and heartache such experiences would generate must be indescribably difficult to overcome. His destiny denied him and forced to the background, barely acknowledged. In the mind of Vegeta, how he feels is completely understandable. I really feel bad for the guy.
I’ve been watching these for a while and honestly the way you never give information deserves an award. I tried watching dbz with my gf and i wasn’t as collected. I’d accidentally give spoilers all the time.
Don't agree with Maddisons views on Vegeta at the end, Vegeta was a slave to Frieza and his race dwindled to a few etc, Vegeta deserves a huge amount of slack too. This is all Vegeta has known and how he's been all his life, because of Frieza, he even says that in the Frieza Arc Love the videos though, Vegeta Story is the best ever, his curve and development are insane, so beautiful to see.
Accourding to the saiyan society, Goku belonged to the lower classes (low caste), so Vegeta feels he lost against a nobody. (It is not that I see Goku that way).
Vegeta's attack on Cell distracted it. It didn't do any damage. You cannot credit Vegeta for that win. He is the one who got Gohan on one arm. If he had known his place and let Gohan fight Cell it would have finished earlier
@@GPlayShow Bruh if he hadn't jumped on Cell after he killed Trunks , Gohan in his SS2 form would have defeated Super Perfect Cell without any problem. Vegeta attacked and got one shotted. Gohan saved him and damaged his arm . It's Vegeta's fault that the beam struggle was even there

@madison: If you want a more plausible explanation to why vegeta is acting like this and could not just let go, imagine this: He was raised as a spoiled Brat since he was a child. He never learned any compassion or care for the weak. It was taught to him basically from birth that strength and pride were absolute. Added more to the fact that he constantly was under friezas heel, had to obey any order given no matter how cruel, so EVEN IF the saiyans were not ruthless killing machines for centuries - He was never given a chance or even was told that peace was an Option to consider. He answered to a dictator and was in a race full of Killers. And then kakarot came into his life, Flipped everything He had believed on his head and had no chance to adapt - until goku died he had no choice but trying to get stronger. It was the only thing he thought to salvage his pride and title - the only things he ever had in life. You See how hard it is for vegeta to Show emotions or kindness even back in the cell Saga with trunks. Until he was shot by cell vegeta was only ignoring him - scared to even remotely opening up. And now 7 years later after he Kind of settled down kakarot comes back, all of the anger and emotions he ignored or swept away all these years came rushing back and overtook every sense of care for his family. His old regrets came back to haunt him. The final nail in the Coffin was when vegeta watched goku fight yakon- the Power gap between them was far beyond anything he could have imagined. So what was vegeta supposed to do? Accept the fact that he would be second best for eternity? That his whole life up until now was a joke? Yes he had a family now but that were never his key values. Here he got the one chance to finally prove himself to kakarot - and himself - but even that chance got cast away repeatedly because supreme Kai kept yammering about buu... of course he was frustrated beyond belief. So if you consider ALL of that... i believe anyone would have gone majin like vegeta did just to close the Power gap between them and have one more chance against his rival. That was literally a do or die Situation for him. Because if he didn't vegeta would live with regret for the Rest of his life. Few would ever understand why this matters so much to him... but taking everything into Account i can see where he is coming from. Even if it meant ignoring the bigger looming threat.
As per your comment about “vegeta never fighting again”. It was included in the original manga. Originally Toriyama wanted that to be the end of dragon ball Z. Goku dying, vegeta to quit fighting, Gohan saves the day, becomes the hero and grows up going to school like he always wanted.

Honestly, Vegeta's monologue about his pride while having Goku pinned to the mountain more than likely stole his victory. He DID have a potential edge there.
@@Jose-gq6knGoku would’ve never done that. He really thought Vegeta had moved past all the animosity he harbored towards him. That’s why he was so shocked to hear Vegeta admit he was willing to allow him to be enslaved by someone just to close the gap between them, which is ironic considering his enslavement to Frieza and the pain it caused him. That’s when it really dawned on Goku how much bitterness Vegeta held onto all those years.
Let's lay down some facts! Technically Goku didn't win that first fight with Vegeta. People forget Yajirobie, Krillin, & Gohan interfered in that one on one. If it wasn't for Yajirobie cutting Vegeta's tail off Goku would of died easily. Vegeta transformed into the great ape form (Oozaru)...Goku cut his own tail off a long time ago so that's he's fault.
I don't say he cheated (After all, Goku used the Kaioken first.) But that may be how Vegeta sees it in his mind, since he had to resort to a transformation he used to normally destroy civilizations for just one guy
@@TitanGT66 My friends at that time thought that was a cheap move by Vegeta but I told them "I totally disagree...cause all pure blooded saiyans have tails Goku chose to get rid of his tail a long time ago". This was Vegeta's ace in the hand. I didn't mean to say "cheated".
@@jcjjcc Not just that but it's an anime that's literally based around characters transforming so that's the whole point. But if it's someone's first time watching then it's fair for them to have that opinion at that time since that was early on
Something that I have heard, a long time ago, which I can't confirm is that Toriyama wanted to end Dragon Ball Z after the Cell saga. Was a "perfect" ending to Goku's story. He died protecting the Earth and passed the torch on to his son. That could be why Vegeta said at the end of the Cell saga he wasn't fighting again. But people wanted more with the popularity it gained so he came up with the Buu saga. One theory is that Toriyama went so outlandish with some of the story lines to "turn people off" of Z. Turning Gohan (the strongest fighter we had ever seen) into a weakling who was playing superhero. The villains names were Bibidi, Babidi, and Buu. (Obviously spoilers for anyone following along the first time coming) Majin Buu acting like a toddler and turning people to candy, and that is why he made SSJ3 with such long hair. Along with a dance that fuses two people together. I could be completely wrong about this, I had heard this years ago and it stuck with me. So anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
I highly doubt that's what toriyamas motives were. I'm pretty sure after the cell saga he was pressured into bringing Goku back by the fans. Gohan has never liked to fight so it is kind of understandable why Gohan turned out the way he did, but I think there really was no need for Gohan to be THAT much of a non-fighter. He knew how powerful he was yet decided to completely turn away and only study after his dad died? Never sat right with me.
I’m late to the party, but while Madison’s analysis is correct, here’s what I believe: Vegeta’s shortcomings are not entirely his fault. He’s a product of King Vegeta instilling that Saiyan pride in him, and Frieza tearing that pride down. A prince enslaved to the very tyrant who massacred his entire race? That would destroy anyone’s psyche. And I haven’t even gotten to the part where Vegeta forced himself into servitude to save his father’s life AFTER finding out his father was really only a figurehead and never the proud king he thought he was. When you really peel away the layers, Vegeta’s entire character arc is really unlearning everything he was taught by his father, healing from the traumas Frieza inflicted upon him, and ultimately learning how to reconcile with being Saiyan AND Human.
Watching Madison's reactions through your videos is amazing knowing personaly what will happen! And it's funny because Baris knows to hahah. I've seen all of this in the 90's, The Dragon Ball series is my favorit in the world and rewatch it with the both of you is like I rewatch with a couple of friends ! Nice contents you people 🔥 (From a french fan)
Madison is on point with her analysis, but like Baris said, Vegeta can’t reconcile it until he proves himself superior to Goku. It’s something that’s ingrained in Vegeta’s very fiber; he feels that he has more of a responsibility to uphold the honor and traditions of the old Saiyan race as its prince and leader, something Goku does not share; that’s another thing that makes their dichotomy all the more enjoyable. In literary terms, Vegeta is referred to as a “dynamic” character (constantly changing), whereas Goku is a “static” one (never changing). Both are great characters, either way. Manga author Masashi Kishimoto of Naruto has said his biggest inspiration is Dragon Ball. He also incorporated many of its elements into his own creation, including pieces from the Goku-Vegeta rivalry into the Naruto-Sasuke relationship.
You say reminds me, that background music is actually the transition music for SSJ2 Gohan. It's not labeled as such but it's known. Bruce Falc is a genius
I always like to refer people who think Vegeta won his and Goku's first battle to this episode. Vegeta himself says he lost that fight and he did. He never meant to resort to his Great Ape transformation, when he did he was losing it and threw away the battle right then and there.
8:25 did Vegeta really lose to Goku back then? Aren't Goku in the ground can't move and Krillin is the one who going to finish Him? It's more like Vegeta win the fight but lost the battle..?
Well, Vegeta did never fight again. He sparred and trained, but never fought. The reason was because Goku died before he could beat him. He also wasn’t interested in fighting in the tournament until Goku said he was going to participate as well. So, I think it still works.
im watching this series cause of both of you, of course im more excited to see someone not knowing whats gonna happen, but your commentary/question adds alot to the series since we can't ask here the same stuff in the exact moment, sometimes i do feel like bars talks to much mid scene(or madision aswell cause of a convo) or interrupt a scene atiny bit but overall im glad to watch both of you!!!!
I always felt like Vegeta is more of a genius than Goku for the fact that he has learned all of his moves alone and has an variety of techniques in his repertoire compared to Goku. I will not lie Goku has a higher iq when it comes to battle instinct. Vegeta fights like he’s on the street while Goku has had so many masters which is why he I feel like he is truly a martial artist.
Goku Is more complete than Vegeta. He knows how important it Is to learn from others. Also, he is completely genious when it comes to combining and improving the techniques he learns. Look at his brilliant variations of Kamehameha (with his feet, or under water, and even combined with Instant transmission).
Vegeta did not learn them alone. He learned all the techs he has from watching Goku reach them first. He was never Goku's equal until he got over himself and learned that it's okay to rely on others. That's why in DBS he's usually Goku's equal because he trains under Whis
I would never doubt that Goku is not a genius in his own way and always finds a way to improve himself and yes he has practice under some excellent masters. I’m just saying I feel as though Vegeta is just a pure genius off the fact that majority of his moves are self taught without the help from others. He trains alone, and comes up with his own techniques by himself. Garlic Gun, Big Bang attack, Final Flash, Final Shine, etc. Even in this video he had pinned down Goku with energy rings against the mountain. Even Madison was like “that’s new” lol.
This is soo awesome been watching since episode 17 and loved every minute with you guys 🤝🏽❤️now I have my girlfriend watching dragon ball now thanks to your advice video 🔥
What Vegeta was saying was filtered with ego but layered in truth. It was his birthright to attain the powers of the Legendary Super Saiyan and become the strongest of his people. In Saiyan culture the Strongest prevail and the weak perish. Much like that of Ancient Spartan culture in the Real World. Since Goku bested him in combat, surpassed him in strength and saved his life, THAT makes him look and feel weak. Since the Cell saga he wanted to be the Hero that saves everyone from any villain that dared threaten his family and the Earth. He simply wants his reckoning day and shine to. Oh he'll get his chance but I'm not gonna spoil it for you Madison. You'll just have to wait and see.😁
So originally The Cell Saga was supposed to be it. DB would end with agony dying and his son taking over as protector of earth. But even the original English dub that came out with Sabat voicing Vegeta didn’t have I am no warrior never fight again, they added that later. Original toonami airing never said this line.
Vegeta’s line about never fighting again at the end of the Cell Games wasn’t in the original Funimation dub either, it was only added in for the re-releases which I’ve always felt was the wrong decision.
Wait, it's really meant literally "the damage you take gives boo energy"? I just know it like "the energy set free goes to boo" which makes a bit more sense 😅 great episodes though :3
If you think about it, all of the issues arised from Majin Buu are Goku's fault. Goku could have instantly transformed into a Super Saiyan 3 at the beginning and easily beat Vegeta, and Buu wouldn't have been resurrected. His thirst for fighting is what allowed him to level himself with Vegeta's strength long enough to have that power. Obviously then we wouldn't have a story but it's still fun to think about whos fault it really is.
I don’t think we can say Vegeta lost to Goku the first time. Vegeta did lose to the Z fighters but by the time he lost it was 4v1 with Goku being put out of action by Vegeta. But as far as the 1v1 portion goes Vegeta got that W.

One of the most meaningful fights in all of dbz
Did Vegeta make u say that xDD
Nah it's actually unnecessary lmao
Not really, Goku is so much stronger and just plays a bit with Vegeta.
But also the most pointless fights as Goku could’ve end it by using Super Saiyan 3. He’s just fueling Buu by holding back.
@@calvinkopp1735 He wanted to fight Boo. So he is happy to fill the egg with energy.
Not to mention if Gohan didnt have to sacrifice his arm for Vegeta, he wouldve never needed his "help"
I love how baris looks at us for like a second whenever Maddison predicts something that'll happen🤣
its like jim in the office
I be catching that too...I can see he wants to say something but he doesn't wanna spoil it he wants her to get the full feeling of it!!
You guys hit the nail on the head. Vegeta's problem is and always has been is his pride in the Sayain race and the entitlement of his own inflated ego. The way Goku acts and his strength as a fighter contrasts Vegeta and flies in the face of everything Vegeta believes in.
I'm not sure if Madison is ready for the next episode and Vegeta's motivation.
She has already seen Goku SSJ3 on Patreon

I ain't gon front but this is the definite fight for me in all of DBZ. Two Saiyans dukin it out and what's crazy you can almost feel the shockwaves from every strike. I'm bless to have made it this far with you guys
Technically Goku never defeated Vegeta
Idk vegeta says other wise 😏
The animation jumped 10 levels in this fight
7:35 This was pretty much all I could think about waiting for the next episode in through high school. I'm definitely reliving it, too, through Maddison lol
And that beam struggle was nuts when Vegeta said, "You're not going to win, not this time." That was deep!
Actually Based Of Strength Goku’s The Saiyan Prince AND Kid Buu Proves That . 💪🏽🤣
@@melvondrewhite2674 Kid Buu isn't even relevant anymore. Vegeta literally just beat Goku at the end of Super Hero. You're trying too hard
Hence everyone says this, "As a child we liked Goku more but as qn adult we can understand and relate to Vegeta more!"
The dialogue man, THE DIALOGUE 😭😭😭
@ErevanTheGamer My bad, I did skimmed out the second sentence. Point taken.

Oh man.. the way Goku powers up out of that energy shackled rock, I forgot how epic that was.
I’ll Never Forget That , He Literally Stole The Show With That Moment .
I feel like most people misunderstand something. Goku has never beaten vegeta in a fight. Vegeta’s grudge against him is that goku has surpassed him in strength and power, but he has never won a fight against vegeta.
Thanks guys, love revisiting this series with you both!
Actually correction baris. He never lost to Goku. Goku was never able to beat him. If Gohan and krillin didn't come, Goku was gonna be crushed to death. Also Vegeta did say he wasn't gonna fight again. But he kept training. People tend to give the Buu Saga a lot of criticism, and not for no reason, as it does have obvious flaws that are more apparent as the Arc progresses. BUT - one aspect it absolutely NAILS is Animation. The Buu Saga throughout has some of the best Animation in DBZ.

Goku hitting vegeta with the 10 commandments stones
"She not worried about Trunks?"
Nope, of all of the characters, Bulma knows full well. If Trunks dies, they have the Dragon Balls to bring him back.
I checked the manga. Vegeta DOES say he will never fight again. I think it was more that with Goku dead he could forget about his shame to some extent but once Goku came back everything came rushing back for him.
He probably moped around for a week or two and figured he had nothing else to do.
Actually Vegeta beat goku in the first fight. The only reason why vegeta lost was because of Krillin or gohan bouncing back the spirit bomb at vegeta.
Actually goku has never canonically beat vegeta in a 1v1, but vegeta has.
Ye canonically but goku definitely could've this time I won't say why
Don't agree with Maddisons views on Vegeta at the end,
Vegeta was a slave to Frieza and his race dwindled to a few etc, Vegeta deserves a huge amount of slack too.
This is all Vegeta has known and how he's been all his life, because of Frieza, he even says that in the Frieza Arc
Love the videos though, Vegeta Story is the best ever, his curve and development are insane, so beautiful to see.

One of the best episodes right here and hearing it being reacted by both of you guys is the icing on the cake.
@madison: If you want a more plausible explanation to why vegeta is acting like this and could not just let go, imagine this:
He was raised as a spoiled Brat since he was a child.
Madison: Vegeta's ego is getting in his way
Me, who's read the Granolah arc in DBS: Who's gonna tell her?😂
As per your comment about “vegeta never fighting again”. It was included in the original manga. Originally Toriyama wanted that to be the end of dragon ball Z. Goku dying, vegeta to quit fighting, Gohan saves the day, becomes the hero and grows up going to school like he always wanted.
Well I don't think that was ever Gohan's wish it was Chichi's. Gohan always tried to skip out to train and fight with his father.
@@Vampyrr Nah Gohan was never a warrior, he fought because he had to. That's why he actually becomes a student and does't train for years. If he enjoyed fighting he would have trained. Even more so in Super.. He actually states multiple times in the series he doesn't enjoy fighting.
@@Vampyrr I see that as Gohan wanting to spend time with his father and doing his best to make his father proud at the time, not as a real desire to fight or become a warrior.

Hmmm goku couldve gone ssj3 and whooped him
@@Jose-gq6kn Hmm except he never would because he's honorable and still never saw him as an enemy
Anyone who says Vegeta cheated because he transformed must not know what anime they're watching 😂
I don't say he cheated (After all, Goku used the Kaioken first.) But that may be how Vegeta sees it in his mind, since he had to resort to a transformation he used to normally destroy civilizations for just one guy

😅 Gohan was never turned into a weakling.
@@HSSJ2 Bring Goku back from where, he was only away for a few issues?
You probably worked this out already:

At 14:15 idk why shit had me laughing my ass off 😭😭 when he looked at the camera. Like vegeta is not the main character here that’s why.
You say reminds me, that background music is actually the transition music for SSJ2 Gohan. It's not labeled as such but it's known. Bruce Falc is a genius
He got her looking at the right version with the Bruce Faulconer music.
I always like to refer people who think Vegeta won his and Goku's first battle to this episode. Vegeta himself says he lost that fight and he did. He never meant to resort to his Great Ape transformation, when he did he was losing it and threw away the battle right then and there.
Someone ought to consider blasting Babidi. I'm sure Piccolo would have thought of it.
Hey Baris you should try to this fight in the original Japanese version it's intense

@@likeicareusewe In DBS Super Hero actually he defeated Goku 😳

That is awesome! You rock!! 😎👍👍
Goku is a great actor by not going Super Saiyan 3 he has more Ki reserves to go all out and beat Majin Vegeta.
Goku also made Krillin spare him so that had to feel like an L since it was disgraceful for him
I think he considers that a defeat because he had to transform into an Oozaru to actually get the upper hand.
@@erevanthegamer4141 I hear ya. But it’s still 1v1 at that point. Also I can use your same point on Goku when he had to resort to the Kaioken to overcome Vegeta.
@@TitanGT66 I agree with you on that point. As far as the overall battle it was definitely an L for Vegeta. I’m just speaking on when it was 1v1 before the others got involved.
@@skywalka02 Sadly, when you are someone as proud as Vegeta, something that seems somewhat trivial in the grand scheme of things might matter a whole lot to him.
The fact he needed a ''crutch'' or an ''emergency'' solution to defeat a third class Saiyan insulted him to the highest degree, which is probably why he considers it a loss even though, I agree, he won.
When this aired on Cartoon Network for the first time, Vegeta never said that he will never fight again. FUNimation slipped that line in later.
