      And it's what makes us pissed, not want to listen to them, to get our arms, to fight them, to shut them up because it's to exhausting for this struggle of power & God, why can't they see its their damn hate toward us that destroys them or makes us not want to work with them on everything in life ?!

    This was honestly an amazing video, and I really enjoyed how she told us all of her thoughts on both sides. Most other reactions just chose the side, that had their race on it, which they didn't really understand the true meaning behind the video. The words people these days call each other needs to stop, and not just because they are harmful, but because it ruins the society. This whole society is slowing turning into trash. With or without the barrier of the races, It's unfair to attack each other. After all, we're in this pothole together.

    Okay, let me say you are only the 2nd video I have watched doing reactions to this that has actually pointed out the importance that these two individuals were having a HEATED discussion and letting that anger out before being able to hug it out in the end. We need that type of discussion in the world today. Let that anger go and then let's move forward together when we get all sides of the argument out there. The issue is that... you need approval to say something is haunting to me. If I say a word... i don't want special treatment for it. Basically, the idea that only certain people can say a certain word is limiting the freedom of speech.

    • @Ni_N9ne
      @Ni_N9ne 6 лет назад +5

      @@Kadeda I mean regardless of if my friends "invited me into the club" I could have said the word, if I had wanted to, and would have had to live with any consequences of doing so. I was and am never not free from saying if I want to, it's just the flip side of the coin is dealing with any repercussions of doing so, people tend to forget freedom of speech isn't freedom from consequences. I could walk into a church and drop a "GD" from front of a pastor, I'm free to do that it's just a dick move. Freedom of speech really only comes down to the first amendment, and especially right now the government isn't going to lock me up if I were to use the n word.

    • @Kadeda
      @Kadeda 6 лет назад +3

      @@Ni_N9ne That's correct but at the same time not what I personally mean. It's more of a thing you expect. The problem lies in when some people say it and expect people to be cool with it because there black and not white.
      If it's a dick move when you say it... then why isn't it a dick move if I say it... or anybody not white?

    • @Ni_N9ne
      @Ni_N9ne 6 лет назад +2

      @@Kadeda I feel what you're saying. Different black people have different opinions about the word, and it's certainly not my place to decide how, when or if the word should or shouldn't be used. I know a lot of people feel that taking that ugly word and saying it with the a is way to claim ownership and rebrand it to try to take the hate out of it, which I get. I also get those who say let the word in both forms die. And I also get (the rarer) opinion like Donald Glover said in his stand-up that white people should use it freely in the non-hateful way to further take the power of the word away from the racists hitting the hard r. It seems to be one of those things that there will never be a consensus. But never stop making your opinion known maybe it will influence others to your take on the issue.

    The first time I saw this video, the first half, with no knowledge of who Joyner Lucas was, it really got me mad. I was so close to just shutting it off, but I stuck to it till the end and was glad I did. It's very hard hitting, makes good points for both sides, but shows the ignorance of people when they start to generalize (on top of not listening to what the other has to say). The biggest message coming out of this, something that I always say myself, is that there need to be an understanding between one another. Empathy is something everyone could use, but sadly something we're lacking in this world at times. But still, there's always hope, and slowly but surely we see changes happening, we see what happens when people come together and work together. Gotta keep hope that we will continue to make progress. Peace, Love, Empathy.

Like the white guy thought they were at different levels, presumably whites on the top floor and blacks on the bottom floor because the guy is racist and sees black people as beneath him. But the black guy was saying we're all on the same level, we're just on different sides, we have different views but we're the same on a basic level.

    Thank you for seeing both sides. I can say this about your question with the N bomb, from what I see on the "outside" as a white person, the word is kept alive in music, movies, and is passed down from generation to generation. Like what you said with about things being passed down. Like what the white dude said, you teach it to your kids and the cycle continues. We emulate and look up to our parents and mentors, so if they use it, we grow up thinking its ok. White homes are taught that it is one of the worst of the curse words. But also our entertainment industry is teaching and infecting us with the ratchet mentality and it is "popularized". Much respect and love to you. I love your reactions. Keep it up.

    I loved your reaction, your understood the point of the video very well. A Clash of 2 extreme thoughts and arguments, people tend to assume things, without understanding each other.
    I love my mother but she is racist, it's not even her own fault, it's how she was raised, she views blacks as dirty and bad people. But honestly, as you said, I view people as people. I'm ANGRY that I have to say BLACK to make my point, there is no need for that. Most of the reactors I watch are people of color. It's not because I want to purify myself, it just happened that way. I've spent my whole life which is 25 years now, without ever questioning a persons race. I've questioned my mothers racism. It took me a lot of years to understand, but I finally did a few years back. If you have a problem SAY IT TO THE PROBLEM. I was close to losing all my friends, losing love, losing family, all because I didn't speak my mind and just assumed that they meant bad for me.
    Once I got my act together, talking it out, even in a fiery argument and hugging it out can go a long way. It can't fix your scars but it can mend them

    You thought you were late to listen to the video, I just listened to it the other day for the first time. Checked out a lot of reaction vids on this and you by far are the most fair to both sides, so thank you for that. BTW Joyner had me crying at the end of the vid. Personally what I think this vid does best is start a conversation. It gets people talking and that is the hardest step.
    I am white grew up in the deep south I think there was one black family in the whole town. When I moved down to Florida for college it was honestly my first time really talking and living with anyone not white. HUGE culture shock. Not ashamed to admit I was a bit scared at first. But after that wore off I found out that we are all just people trying to get by.
    If we get out of our race and just listen to one another rather than judge or stereotype the world would be a much better place.
    Yes we all have our assholes that refuse to do that, but hopefully we can ignore them and accept people for who they are and not what you would want them to be.

  • @Bras5y
    @Bras5y 6 лет назад +3

    8:46 I agree with this so strongly. I honestly argued about this with my religious studies teacher about the fact that not allowing any other race to say a word is discrimination flipped around, and that instead of fixing the inequality it was just flipped around so that black people had a privilege that others didn’t. He only replied saying that “I think after 200 years of oppression, they can at least deserve a word” which totally dumbstruck me. It is a disgusting word whichever way you use it and I don’t care whether your black or not. I believe that this word should be abolished because it will always stand for negativity no matter how you use it. It stemmed from hate and people will always use it as either an excuse for hate or a way to channel their hate. Rant over. Btw, loved the reaction you have given me faith in humanity again 😂❤️💖

    To me as a spectator to America from the UK it seemed the Barack to Donald wasn't anything to do with race but actually more to do with far left media culture and policing peoples thoughts and the SJW bs that is rampant nowadays. Same with the Brexit in the UK...people were so tired of it they wanted to rebel being dictated to on an extreme level and the patriotic thoughts of seperating your country from the overlords to "make America great again" was very appealing. Everything is about being a victim group these days and being offended on behalf of people instead of individual responsibility. We need equality of opportunity for everyone and that's pretty much it.

    It’s Stereotypes, because of propaganda making seem blacks are only on food stamps when it’s more white in this country than black.
    I did like the song because of the two perspectives though. Just did not like the two step line and fried chicken.
    Every time we try to forget or leave things in the past then something occurs that remind us what this country was built on.
    Other than that it was pretty good overall.

    A few things:
    She could enter and win Miss Universe
    He does sound like Eminem, especially when he says the line, "it's just how we greet "each other." But when y'all use it we know there's a double meaning "under." Those lines are reminiscent of Eminem when he's replying to Stan on the song "Stan."
    You are so expressive and from what I can tell open-minded and down to earth.
    Lastly, the bible says, "A man that findeth a wife, finds a great thing." The man that united with you will be blessed. Positive vibes and blessings, Queen

    I find it completely stupid that people allow religion and skin tones and whatever else to separate us. We're all human and we're all just trying to survive in this fucked up game called life.
