Question: Does one have to necessarily join Instagram’s creator marketplace to negotiate brand deals or is that something we can do on our own, outside of that? Does Instagram get a cut of those brand deals when going through the marketplace? Thank you again!
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 1. No you don't! You can negotiate brand deals whenever and through whatever avenue you like. (eg. Instagram DMs, emails, etc.) 2. I've never actually gone through IG marketplace for a brand deal at this stage, so I'm not entirely sure. But I would say one of the main avenues for getting brand deals would be to have a business email where you can discuss and negotiate there. 🙂
