S;G is pretty overrated tbh. It's good, but it really did take too long before it really got interesting. Kurisu is also baby's first tsundere waifu. Her character is quite shallow, and she practically had no character development until the movie.
@@TheDarkLasombra SG0 suffered from being adapted from a visual novel where in order to experience it fully you needed to get each separate route and ending. Because of that they made a mishmash last 10 episodes that tried to incorporate every ending into one. Also nothing even happens 2 episodes in, you can’t judge if it ruins the original or not unless you watch it all. The final episode also links back to the first series episode 23&24. SG0 is the timeline that needed to happen in order for the true ending of the original to even be possible.

I kinda get Senchou about it being harder to really get into some shows, especially stuff like shounen. I can't say if it's just age or simply getting tired of the monotony & predictability I also didn't vibe with Demon Slayer at first, especially since the show/story kinda treats its viewers like simpletons & MC loves saying what's obviously happening on screen, but I followed coz Ufotable is god-tier at elevating action & his sis cute (& story is always moving forward as I was told) Jujutsu was very slow paced at the start but felt a bit more mature than the usual shounen anime. Friends told me it was supposed to heat up soon after, plus the op & that ed goddamn Still dunno if new Higurashi is worth (I've limited internet resources)
I have the same problem with Tokyo Ghoul Didn't find it interesting enough to watch it through and stopped at Episode 2. Haven't continued on. Not planning to either.

The latter half is what transforms it into one the best anime's of all time, but the early episodes are an important element of what makes the second half work so well.

I also didn't vibe with Demon Slayer at first, especially since the show/story kinda treats its viewers like simpletons & MC loves saying what's obviously happening on screen, but I followed coz Ufotable is god-tier at elevating action & his sis cute (& story is always moving forward as I was told)
Jujutsu was very slow paced at the start but felt a bit more mature than the usual shounen anime. Friends told me it was supposed to heat up soon after, plus the op & that ed goddamn

Not gonna lie almost disliked and clicked off when she said she dropped Steins Gate after episode 2 lol. It's my favorite anime so I'm glad she liked it!

@@sebelumkupergi No. To me Steins Gate is one of the most solid animes of all time. The pacing of the plot is flawless, unless you're the kind of person who loses interest once some scenes that you can't understand appear. Unfortunately Marine is one of those.

Without prior recommendation, hype, or spoiler, I think S:g is very boring at the begining. You will nit know the story will become interesting/good unless yiu got recommended about it.
Im talking the few early eps btw. Its really boring.
@@sebelumkupergi I personally enjoyed all the early episodes of S;G. If that had been the whole series I would still considered a perfectly solid anime. The latter half is what transforms it into one the best anime's of all time, but the early episodes are an important element of what makes the second half work so well.
@@Zeik56 as a whole anime, i agreed SG is interesting, but for some people and myself personally i think the early episode was boring.
I watched it back then when it was still aired, so i can't binge watch it, and i have no experience with the visual novel version.
My impression was its very mundane and boring, not mentioning okabe' personally is very obnoxious at the begining. I have to drop the anime.

Kimetsu no Yaiba is so overrated, animation is gorgeous but the story and characters are just average at best.
