As soon as I saw the model come out of the back of the van I was impressed with the quality of build and attention to fine detail in the rigging. I never expected the nets to work I just thought they would be static modelling detail but no, I was amazed to see them lower into the water and t the end expecting to see one or two small fish in the nets. Lovely model and a credit to its builder
I just got this in my feed after 2 years. This deserves more views. Also an English caption. I would like to know what they are saying. The boat performs prototypically, which is awesome. The list, the bow wave, the ballast points, everything. It’s all well balanced and the paint is to spec and the modeled teak boards are amazing. The nets functioning is the cherry on top. Amazing job, it inspires me and hopefully others too.
I'd agree with you. Really loved. A fella in the state, built a PT or MTB that was big enough for him an another bloke to drive on open water. This is all rippa stuff for me.
Beautiful work and incredible detail. However, whoever is taking the video has done an awful job not showing all of the detail and constantly moving over to look at other people standing around. To give the Builder credit, please do a better job videotaping
Stunningly awesome boat. You don’t see too many of this kind of level of craftsmanship. I only wished that the camera guy could have focused more on the boat.. missed moments.
@@minimadfrank That's amazing and thank you for answering my question it's a beautiful representation of a Cornish beamer. I am totally in love with them as mad as it sounds🤔 but before "healthy and safety" my mum and dad would take my sister and I to watch the beamers unload there catch at looe in Cornwall as we ate fish and chips sat on a bench right between the trawlers and the market floor 😂 always on the evening tide so I don't know how they knew what time to take us? But we loved it as much as a night at the pictures haha! One night a skipper who had seen us there a few times and asked us if we would like to look around the vessel and I remember just how exited I was as a young boy probably 7 or 8 years old! It was just huge to me at the time an I looked everywhere I could but for some reason I was scared to go down the ladder to the engine room, I'm not sure why I think it was just the noise and sheer size at my age spooked me but I've always thought how kind it was of that skipper at the end of a trip to take that time with us.
no such thing as too much time and money im working on 2 rc scale models now, one is a search and rescue tug and the other is the zwarte zee tug gotta do what you love and this guy loves that boat
Absolutely beautiful model !! we have a couple of these Dutch trawlers visit MILFORD HAVEN , they have got to be the most elegant of the modern fishing vessels ??. Wales UK.😍😍😍😍😍
This is the WISEST COMMENT here. Almost ALL RC Ship models suffer from the same problem. EVEN if they are PERFECTLY made, their operators run them at RIDICULOUSLY HIGH SPEEDS, as if they are TOYS and not SERIOUS MODELS. THEY ALL do it! WISE UP! I wish I spoke Dutch so they could SEE and UNDERSTAND my comment and Matti's obvious point!
I like seeing the boat not the man with the camera. long did take to build ,l have a tugboat it is a Clyde tug it is scratch built it took me about two years in the making and I sail it at Fleetwood Model boat club Lancashire.
Excellent work m8, a fella in the States built a scale model of a PT or MTB boat, he and anothe bloke could fit in it. Rippa stuff though m8, keep up the good work. Goin to go looking to see if I can find your build vlogs.
If you take a masters ticket they have models of large ships that you sit in and drive to get the feel of how a ship reacts to very little power for its size. I think I have seen them on U Tube .
I am not sure who was controlling the guy in the waders, but there appeared to be more action in that department Than from the fishing vessel itself. 😬
The guy fucks with the boat to much. Either let it do what you built it for or keep it outta the water. We all want to see the boat work in deeper water away from you. If your afraid of it getting outta range or something no working correctly you can bring it in otherwise leave it alone
It would be so much better if powered by gas engine instead of battery, because of the real life sound and exhaust smoke. Battery can be used for the utulity, net etc.
What a lovely boat, and a lovely setting, but why did they allow the cameraman to drink on the job? Completely spoilt this for me, having a stumblebum behind the lens.
Man I love it, I build a few models no remote. 1" to the foot scale wood shrimp trawlers. I wish I knew where you get your blocks, rigging gear etc? Very good work!!
you spent god knows how long building this model but struggled to get it off then back on to your van ,you could ,i dont think, ever do it by your self . I have seen people with model ( working ) traction engines and they have a winch to get it down the ramp then back up again ,so you need to install one for future use.
Very nice model. Seems like he's a bit worried about sailing It ! Rudder didn't seem to work too well. Personally I can't see the point of building such a big model when the are no others to sail with to give it any realism. I have built 2 six foot models ,, warships that sail with many others on the local pond and give a fantastic sense of realism..

Great looking boat what scale is it? looks like 1/16 or 1/18 🔵🔵🔵👍👍👍😀😀😀✔️✔️🔵🔵🔵
A boat that good could easily overfish it's quota and get banned under the new regulations!
Wonderful Model, well done. I am amazed that the video is disliked by 110. Whats wrong with them? Why would anybody dislike such a video???
Class,Having fished on a beamer years ago Brilliant to se a working model. Well Done

That fisherman is HUGE!
Nice model but way toooo looong video! :(
Awesome. Thank you for posting. A masterpiece.
Nice beam trawler, she looks like a sister ship to one i used to work on out of Brixham, the Sea lady.
What's with the chest hairs popping out of the top of vest?
think its a microphone, the "hair" is to reduce windnoise
Oh WoW beautiful girl 👧
The nets function too? This is super cool!
yes
Great model! Artwork! Great work! 😊
So does actually work? Sorry if that sounds like a dickish question.
yes it's fully functional :) it's all remote controlled

Good thing you have a proper slipway, it`s almost like berthing a fullsize vessel xD
Fantastic model!
Hop on and go for a ride
Its not just an rc... Its an minature scale with full functions
A above standard work of art. Very well done...
Prachtige boot.
English please. ..... Nice boat it needs a few Hamsters as crew. Hahaha
Absolutely brilliant. Wonderful build and very skilled to get it all correct.
By far the fastest trawler, a hull length per second 😮🤔😆

are you speaking german?
nederlands
If it had all the interior and exterior lights on at night it would be hard to tell it's a model boat
Geweldig! Ik heb genoten.
Dank u
Could you catch shrimp or bait fish?🤔
yes

This is epic
I don't know if the builder installed a bow thruster or not but it would make it a lot more maneuverable in tight spaces.
Is it possible to share the plans? At least plan for the hull?
me too please 🙏

wonder he dont get nicked for having an unregistered fishing boat
Pretty big.
If he had made it a bit bigger he could have gone cruising in it.
I didn't understand, did he catch something?
Why no video of it actually under power.
