It would be nice to get midi and the sound into garage band… Numa piano does it nicely … it doesn’t have to be a pluggin … garage band allows for other music programs to be ported in.
4:51 a small taste of 'Breathe' coming through there! A good place to branch off of. Love the changes throughout the whole sequence. Sometimes it's just good to get lost in progressions playing nothing in particular and letting your heart express itself through your hands.
I have been playing with this patch for a couple of days now. It is a good learning tool, and is very helpful. I would like to have heard you explain your thoughts process as you progressed, good or bad, for context. Great job.
I think you’re on to something here, David. One of or new lead pastors has recently been having me play solo during the entire sermon as background music because he feels it helps usher in the presence of the Lord, along with the speaking. As you can imagine it can be hard to keep things fresh and creative, especially after a couple of services and playing just one patch. I’ve been using Sunday Sounds on MainStage on a MacBook Pro with the worship team for the last two years and am still using that same setup, but I’d love to try this live (after experimenting at home) when I’m asked to play during the sermon so it keeps things fresh for me musically as well.
Loved it. I used to do this at the piano, except for the layers. Since I don’t play at the piano now that I have the Subway Keys app, I may take this as inspiration to just explore.
Phenomenal video as usual David. I've got what you may consider a very silly question. I think I have reconfused myself. I typically keep the top options playing in C and hearing in C. If I'm playing a song in D let's say. Do I necessarily have to change the hearing in to D and the listening in D? Or can I just leave it and see and play the song in whatever key I'm playing in by playing those corresponding notes? In other words if I'm playing a song in the key of D then I'm playing all of the notes that go alongside the key of D. If I walk up to a regular upright piano there is no option to play in D and here and C. The piano is just the piano. So do I need to change the option? Does it affect all of the different sounds if I leave it and see but I'm playing the keys to a song in D? I think this is what's confusing me. I'm starting to think that if I just leave it in the key of C and hear it in the key of C that I am doing something wrong with all of the other sounds. Sorry for the long post I just need to get this straight. I need to know yes You should be changing the play in and they here in for every song you're playing in that specific key. Anyway thank you for everything
Hey! I might be wrong but from what I understand, the key changing option should only affect anything to do with Sequences and the Easy Chord midi effect! So any pre-programmed patches with sequences or easy chords and any of the pre-programmed sequence or easy chord presets. However, if you program your own sequence or Easy Chord thing, you should be good! The reason for this is that they are pre-programmed and therefore are set for a different key. (Specifically C) For example, a pre-programmed easy chord setting has it so that when a low C note (specifically C2) is played, it triggers a C chord in the upper register of the keyboard. So, if you were playing in the key of D, and you used the same pre-programmed setting as before without telling it what key you’re playing in, then the easy chord will be trying to play C natural and F natural when the key of D has C# and F#! In the end, you only need to tell Sunday Keys your key if you are using a pre-programmed sequence or easy chord! Besides that, you shouldn’t need to tell it what key you’re playing in! I hope this helps! 😊
I have a couple question. What is the difference between Standardalone app vs MainStage format? how do I connect or start after buying it and downloading the app? What are the steps? Can I use it without audio interface?
Please allow Sunday Keys to be opened in GarageBand and/or Logic Pro on iOS. Thanks in advance.
i doubt garageband has the capabilities for it, also there is mainstage
That’s not quite how that works. Sunday keys isn’t a plugin, it’s more of a digital audio workstation (DAW) just like garageband

It would be amazing if we could have drum loops or live sounding drums on the Sunday keys app, 🤔

you play all service? Dang. that's what William Augusto is for!
Hoping for an update soon to add a knob to control the tone of the piano/pads. That would be a game changer for me.
Definitely, like how the MainStage tone dial worked

free subway? SWEET. How do I get one of those?
Is all these changes in iOS app also being made in MainStage version.
Hey I have a IPad Mini with Sunday keys how do you have it setup with your midi
What stand you use for the iPad? I want to buy one.😊
where is the mini piano felt noisy? I can't find it and I have the ultimate license and my library is up to date.
