By the way, on the Timeline window, the right side with the three lines, there is an option to make an animation from the layers. Makes it easier than adding each individual one.
Finally, a good instructional video on animating GIFS - the other tutorials assume too much and don't show how to access all of the menus, leading to more frustration. Thank you!
Nathaniel is a beast! I'd like to think I am a baby beast in training and would love to have you take a peek at only one of my videos - no obligation, and the best part, its FREE! 🙏💪
Hey, Nathaniel. I've been watching your vids for over ten years now, and I just want to say thanks for sharing your knowledge. You've not only taught me how to do cool things like this, but also watching you calmly figure out why something wasn't working and fixing it taught me how not to rage at the computer over my own ignorance and/or impatience, haha!
ND, I've not seen every video in your library, but did you know you can now export animated Gifs from After Effects - for the longest time this wasn't available for Mac users, and it makes me happy as I find AE more robust for complex animated gifs!
I believe that if you hit 'create layers from frames' then it will create 1 frame for each layer rather than having to hide and unhide layers individually to create each frame!
Every time I watch one of your Vids, I open up Adobe and start trying to Create my own version - Thanks for continually posting Great projects - @ James Burke 4 Photos
Thank you for the really cool video :) The possibilities are infinite. However, if I do as you say for the export, the gif does not work (I have static images on my desktop). I have to export it by selecting Export-Render Video!
@@tutvid would you be able to tell me why I can't save for legacy.. The option is there I do all the steps. Then it doesn't save and give an error message. Adobe says use the latest version. 2020 cloud ☁ which I did. Did the update. But same error occurs. Would really appreciate the help.
can you tell me how to set up the workspace like your is cos its kinda hard to follow when you dont know where the tool for what ur doing is. like maybe make a video or something?
I'd missed that one. Thanks for the tut. Useful. I had not worked out there was a Frame Animation in the timeline. What would be coll is seeing whether an animated GIF can be imported in Photoshop with the frame animation. I know opening a GIF does preserve layers, but not sure if you have to do the whole frame animation manually again. I'll give it a try and see. Thanks again.
And replying to myself to save anyone the trouble of checking: it does preserve the frame animation in the timeline even when animated GIFs come from other sources. Excellent.
Thanks SO much man , Listen I am an Old school user of Image ready And Was wondering where it went ,, This Seems Basically like that, And so I appreciate this Video greatly.
Is it possible to precompose the animation to use it in another file? Like to be able to drag the bull into a larger ad, where the only animation is the bull...?
8:30 is the animation tutorial, skipping the drawing process
You are god
Thank you so much
Thank you!!

Thanks, Dude!
