if flipping the bird shot a bird shaped rocket that you could rocket jump with you could disrespect your surroundings
Even if that is hella cool it overlaps with The Detonator which also lets you do rocket jumps. The current use is more of a personal "f off" and it fits The Bird quite well so i aint complaining
rocket surfing like Ultrakill would be cool too

Is Steve supernova based on Kamina from gurren lagann? Because if so that’s the coolest Easter egg I’ve ever seen.
I didn't intend to reference anything when I started designing him, but I realized after finishing the sketches that he just looked like a Gurren Lagann character. So I just decided to lean into it
I think flipping people off would be the equivalent of a flashbang or a stun grenade
Only difference is, instead of blinding/stunning them it makes them too shocked/furious/offended to do anything.

It would be cool if when you shot the bomb on Bobert it exploded killing him and the enemies around him, making it so you could line him up with other enemies for some fun strategy.
I do like the idea of his explosion being dangerous to other enemies
Idea: Enemies have Weak points, like the gunthers gun and that wacking dudes stick, and the bat on the baseball dude
it's been a while since I've checked in on this game, and wow dude the progress is insane
I'd love to see a voltaic version of Slapmo that would make him more dangerous. Maybe something like a shoulder tackle or let him use one of your guns, like maybe the Gimme or the Dragon Punch? I feel like it would be really funny to see Slapmo in a black belt or something.

The bird could do damage proportional to the special meter. Or a shock wave type thing. Anything that gives power to whipping out the bird
You could make some really cool encounters with the voltaic enemies where you only have enough time to one enemy from getting buffed so you have to choose which stronger enemy you want to deal with.

Looks amazing! Maybe as a challenge mode, certain fingers are broken (disabled), so you need to be creative!

Idea for possessed 'gimme' (the purple melee guy, idk how to write his name): He He continues to run after you (maybe with a better path-finder), but every now and then he take some seconds to charges a VERY FAST charge attack.
I really hope you can complete the game, I love how it looks, feels the concept, all of it, I would support, but like Im broke too so…

honestly i always thought the bird should be a debuf to enemies that see it. maybe they are slower and shoot less or something.
or maybe the opposite in where they are faster, hit harder but also give more of a reward?

Would you ever consider adding living versions of the ghost enemies? Maybe once you kill them, their ghosts could appear, giving some risk/reward to attacking them early.

I haven't played the game and don't have plans to, so this is a really simple question, but I curious: can you switch weapons with the scroll wheel? It seems like for a speedrunning game that would kinda be a necessity because people would be moving too fast to have time to move their hand all over to the number keys, but the way he says it makes it sound like number keys are the only way to switch weapons
so will all 32 possible combinations in this game be their own gun?
