Awesome... my favorite guitarist hands down of all times mr frank...first song I ever heard from Tesla was changes it changed my life forever..thank you Sir for you guitar arrangements..2thumbs up.
South Side, The Squeeze Inn off Fruitridge, best burgers in the universe, been many years, but it used to be the best. Spent a lot of time at the Army Depot there.
Hey Frankie , joe b. Here, friend of Michael Gregory and Vinnie Faria... I was just looking up Atomic Circus.. Thank you for the pic of Vinnie. I want to hear some of Vinnie's tracks to listen closer to his incredible playing, can u link me up to some? Please. Vinnie told me you gave your first Tesla gold record to him... That is so cool, you are right on bro. Thank you for all you have done with and for Vinnie, i miss him, i wanted him to be my drummer and Michael Gregory as my lead guitarist haha. I was there when you met Michael Gregory at Signal Heights Baptist church...you we're on a BMX bike...not sure if you were going to Derek Dorge's house, same street. i wrote a riff/song just for Vinnie/drums based on something i saw him playing on guitar, something that he wanted to drum to..but i never got to share it with him. Maybe you could somehow spotlight Vinnie in one of your vids? More pics more drums. Sacramento spawned all of us rockers but i live in Hawaii now, you should come visit. I was playing elec guitar at the Seaview lawn drum circle near Kalapana.. 30 drummers 2+ drum kits all together playing, creating vibe and intensity, half clothed dancers, then i fade in on top of the drums improvising to the beats and time changes..then i lay my own tunes over the drummers flow and timing..they do their thing like i wasn't there, I'm following them not them to me. I wanted to get a video of it but hadn't, i got audio on a bunch of it. Best regards to you Frankie, you are a shining star in more ways than one.
Was nice to see you remember Vinnie in the dedication . He was flopping on my couch in 98 thru 01 . Couldn't get that boy to get a real job . All he wanted to do was bang on his drums ! Was saddened that we faded apart and heartbroken when I learned about his passing . I didn't know him as long as you but we made fast friends and laughed the whole time we had together . He was an awesome friend and brother and I miss him . RIP .
South Sacramento... Vince Garcia and i would hang out at Frank’s quite a bit.... I don’t think i could go into the Tallac lounge though; Eric Colson’s last gig was there before he sadly left us to the other side. I miss my 916, but there’s a lot to be said for seeing the world, and buying a farm out east where land is still cheap!! Love you, Frank Castillo, you wild mother... Peace and love to you and yours, Frank Hannon
Was in Elk Grove for many years. I know all those places to bad i never knew Frankie but i know he is super cool good dude and a fantastic guitar player!!!
My boy "Frankie C" from the old school!!! Funny thing, if you go to this part of Sac today you wouldn't even suspect anything rock music related came out of here.
Cool Frankie! I met you Heavy Metal Hippie, Dave and Troy after the very LOUD and great gig this summer in Aschaffenburg. It was great fun. Don't hesitate to come back to Europe and rock soon!
I am not in Sac very often. Thanks for the memories. Pat Martin? Wow! I am gonna have to look him up on line. I have not forgotten City Kid at the Oasis Ballroom.
Yo Frankie, shit man I lived in freeport and fruitridge across the street from the airport. You remember Shire road Pub? How about Polite Pete, aaaaaaaaaaand Raunchy Ralf from 93 rock.
