Going back and watching what I missed in the beginning and I'm thinking to myself, I'm so glad you guys got the building part done before lumber was Hella expensive lol
Rewatching from the beginning after finding this channel in 2023. Love the connection they share, the hard work they accomplish together, and the simplicity they are living while having such great joy! Hope your continued chapters are full of every dream you both share!
I was impatient waiting for a new video and just scrolled through and ended up on this one... Just so you know, I'm greek and in Greece, ladybugs are considered a good luck sign and are always welcome... The luck you guys have is unmeasureable according to the number of ladybugs that lived into your property and that, is clearly visible just by looking at the accomplishments you guys have made through the years and your beautiful children.. 🙏
Visiting you from Labor Day 2022. So this is where you got your first building chops :)
I’ve seen all your videos - starting over - Spencer, she cannot stop laughing. View your videos from start to finish. Glad she could laugh through all of it.
2 down, sooo many ahead. Cool!
OMG - I had to do the same thing to our Garage. Almost 80% rebuilt - what a mission, I take my hat off to you guys!
I didn’t find your channel until you had already completed the framing on the containers. I started watching your videos a few months before you added the extra room on the side of the one container, which was a great idea by the way. I haven’t watched all your videos so I’m going back to the beginning to watch the whole container home build from the beginning to where you are now. I look forward to seeing your weekly videos more that any of the other channels I watch.
I love your show, two young people doing their own thing, keep up the work and I am sure you will have a very lovely home.
You two are just hilarious. I love that you’re both real and genuine. Great relationship examples.
Hilarious? When?
I love how she just giggles at everything but he is past the laughter at this point....😤🤣🤣
In case no one has told you. YOU GUYS ROCK! I’m loving watching the progress. Or as I like to call it “Progmess”. Cause you can’t have progress without a mess!
Spencer has come a long ways.
You guys are amazing, the chemistry between you two is delightful and that dog is a pie 😂 thanks
Wow! It’s amazing it didn’t collapse on you!!
Watching this was the first time I realized you guys are insane.
I discovered your blog by chance a week agoand have been binge watching ever since 😏😊
Same here. They are just awesome
Tiny Shiny Home recommended your channel and I like to start watching channels from the beginning! 😊❤
You guys need more videos like these...regular motion, not super speed motion. Well, maybe when the weather heats up again. The close-ups are so entertaining. Makenzie is comical and Spenser doesn't need the gym at all with workouts like these. Keep up the great work!! 🙂
So this was shot Or posted about 3 years ago now. Look how far you come. You have done a lot to get to where you are today. And it started with that barn. I can't wait to see the new videos and where things gone from where you are now. I am sure you inspired many people to work to build their dreams.
I just found your page, it seems very interesting to live in containers, thanks for teaching us
Keep each other laughing, 37 years with a awesome lady that I have managed to keep laughing and my ability to carry large masses of bags into the house for her!
Poppy Neese this is the cutest comment ❤️
Went back to the beginning when you were just a couple of kids instead of a couple with a couple of kids…. Missing you. Hope all is well! 11 days since last video…
Good job on redoing the posts!!!
To bad you didn’t think to number your videos. It would make it so much easier to follow along!
RUclips can sort it into date order. Problem solved.
Yeah, filter the movies by date (Oldest to Newest)
This is a great channel! I'm going to be watching all these episodes.
I want to make sure I follow along. I'm interested in installing my own solar.
Decided to start over from the beginning again today love yalls videos 🤟🏼😎🤟🏼❤️🇺🇸
Can’t stop watching . You go guys!
Loving the cow interaction.
I'm a fairly new subscriber...about 20 videos this weekend LOL.
I'm going back and fourth from recent to older.
It is really amazing to see the growth you've each made in individual maturity and in relationship maturity. And you've both settled into the long haul of this/these projects.
I'm fascinated by your contractor knowledge And your eye for the shoot and editing.
From day one to a year in, you've Really become a Beautiful team.
What memories you'll have for your children and yourselves...guessing McKenzie got pregnant somewhere between snakes in the tree swing and a rainstorm.
(Thunder and lightning will do it everytime.) 🙃
Once again bravo and you guys are amazing, y’all Have a lot of guts! 😘👩🏾🦲🥰
I love you guys i keep your vids on a loop and now have my mom watching. You are my new fav tv show
good job guys
Part 1 this barn is structurally sound....part 2 complete demo😉
You kids are adorable the love for one another is evident,❤🙏
I'm always looking forward watching these projects workshop and home container ♥
I just happened on this channel! Really like it!
I saw the first video where he said “ladybug infestation” and thought, “No, termite infestation, and the ladybugs are after the termites.” Looks like I was right. I’m so glad to be watching this years after the fact, when I know they got through this...
Catching up on episodes I missed!
You two are the cutest couple I have watched on RUclips. Keep the laughter going even when times get tough!! Can’t wait to see what you’re beautiful home is going to look like ❤️❤️
Very nice🙏🙏🙏
Bossee showing you who's boss. Never seen anybody having so much trouble getting it up, even with her helping. The wood pillars that is
I just discover your videos yesterday!
I didn’t realize that you did so much work on the barn. I never watched these early videos before
I wish I could show you guys the method our old neighbor showed us to remove big posts on our farm here in Texas. Mr. Morris got a sturdy wheel, we were truck drivers so we had a truck wheel (that made it so much better than a car wheel...) but you put a chain/rope whatever around the post right at the bottom of the post, snug it tight, then run it over the top of the wheel, then we connected the other end of the chain on the tractor (he let us use his tractor as we'd not bought ours yet...) and pulled it right the hell out. It worked like a fulcrum and it made a really hard job ridiculously easy. Everything I ever learned was from some old person with better know how. Hope this helps in the future if y'all are still checking old posts. Just found your channel, love the nutty way you two work together. Looking forward to the other posts in the series...
That is a good idea. The tire let's you pull straight up.
Yeah like they own a tractor ;)
Not really clear where the wheel goes? just on the ground i guess
Holy Guacomoli! L0VE it!
Yes you both are funny even at the very start. You guys are GREAT love Watching you both
Thanks for a fun clip! I like watching your progress and enjoy the banter and different personalities - this is a dream to work together to create a future you both want.
Great video!
Really enjoy watching your videos
You have so much to learn but you're very entertaining. Good luck.
i came here from the coments on the wild worderful off grid chanel, already binge watch all of the episode, amazing work, Saludos desde Chile
Hi. I remember tackling our barn and home. Hard work but rewarding . I think those cows are coming to you because they used to get fed there.
Your baby is adorable 💝
Work boots to protect your toes! Looks like your journey will be great to follow. Look forward to more videos!
You beat me to it. Couple of hard hats too.
A couple of years later Spencer drops drywall on his toe. I don't think Van's makes steel/composite toed shoes.
I think I missed the part when you told us your names, where you currently are in the US and maybe a little bit about why you guys chose to do this? I heard you say you left Florida, I think maybe you went to Texas or Idaho? Would love to hear your story if possible? Thanks John from AZ 😎👍🛠🌵
In the UK we call them ladybirds lol this is a very good transformation and cheaper than if you we're to a call home improvement company
Just found ur channel so ive decided to watch all ur vids just bc im a single, watched some tho but ill start over
highlift jack and chain, pulls post out EASY!!!!
Never saw this older vlog but all the cows arriving reminded me of Hitchcock's THE BIRDS. . .
Annfalfa....Alfalfa's little sister. Loved it!
Welcome to Texas, Now I hope later down the videos, you bought y'all some workin' boots!
Making progress.
Sooooo wish u would have numbered these vidieos just found this channel, WOW !
On the time stamp between 4 to 520 in removing the post Spencer had the right idea of wiggling it, but to pull it next time drill a hole through it, then add a long piece of rebar in the hole, then he can get a better hold and pull it straight up, after the first pole is out, he then can use the first pole as lever to lift the others out, this piece advice or tip may come to late, but hope he can take this knowledge for future endeavors, Ravage
Even better is to use an old style bumper jack. Wrap a chain around the bottom of the post and hook this onto the jack. Pops it out of the ground in just seconds. Dad and I built many miles of fence during my teenage years.
Found your blogs and I am now a huge fan youre inspiration made me take on a Dyi project will see how it goes.
When I was little my dad turned a tool shed into a house. He used to joke that the only thing holding it up was the termites holding hands.
Another great video guys.. Thanks for sharing
You both are amazing!
plum-bob, love it---
good use of the transport loadlocks.
Cows are pretty curious critters...but can be kind of clumsy...so be alert when they are around :)
Boy u really have a great fan club and probably advice if u want it Keep Laughing! Your property is cool!
This series just came up on my list. I was wondering about that barn
collect the cow pies, great fertilizer
Following your journey. Inspiring.
I really enjoy your videos. You are both so funny! Love what you are doing. Can't wait to see the next video.
Nice work on the posts!
Awesome job. Glad you replaced the post with pressure treated lumber. Looks like you have your work cut out for you.
now and next spring when the shed heaves with the thaw because they only went 2 and a half feet down in a cold climate where the frost line is more like 3 feet down
use the chick fence wire to build a compost pen or pens
Ladybugs - wow never ever seen so many! Stampede!
CAOH are those Japanese Beatles?
You guys are funny, love your videos
All right, yes, okay, good job.
love ur videos...U guys r so funny!!!
Sliding chop saw is realy nice that's what I have is the ridgid but mine doesn't slide but I have been through a lot of table saws and 20 years ago when I was building houses the best table saw was the Skil twist cheap but you can cut 8 foot 2x4 down the center all day with it Skil twist
You better check yourself before you reck yourself! Girl after my oen heart!
I know this is an older video but a good way to prevent termites on things like that is to paint it with you small motor oil up about a foot high. They won't bother it anymore.
You might want to set up a yard fence to keep the Bull and herd just walking thru your work.
Love y’alls videos. But you need to start selling those ladybugs. 🐞lol
I just started watching the series but you two are living the dream.
Congrats and keep up the good work. 👍🏼
They look more like Asian Beetles. We have a ton of them here in the North
Central US.
Hey, Keeping it Dutch sent me over. New sub! Can't wait to see your journey! Only and best advice I could give you, save everything!!!! You never know when you'll need fencing, posts, fans (I noticed you took out 3 of them from the barn on the first part), etc.!!! PS those are not lady bugs, they are Asian Beetles. We were invested last year with them, but not many this year. They bite too!!!! lol
@@TheAstroflight
LOL. Which one are you waiting them to fail? I want to follow it if I still don't.
I am writing this in 2018......... honest..... I have looked into your future and you will be 'with child' in 2019 and have running
water by that winter.............
g2macs 😂
Hope you used pressure-treated lumber! If not you'll replacing them in a few years from termite damaged again.
I would have thought that family and friends would lend a hand to these guys?
I'm sure they have from time to time. Spencer's grandfather and uncle live nearby. If I'm not mistaken Spencer bought the land from his grandfather or a family member.
I have removed some post that were on the ground like 6 feet out of an old livestock shed. Used a skid steer to pull it.
Watching it from the start in 2020. . .
Hello from ORLANDO, FLORIDA. It is HOT here.
banana peels are great for your flowers, garden, ect.
Great I have at least found your journey from the start I think. It's where you started on the barn???? Spencer you have hair! You got muscles at the start and wow they have grown too
Get a foam cover for your cam mic to cut the wind if you haven’t yet
If you ever run into that problem again. Heavy post or rock and can't get it out of the hole. Stop trying to lift it. Just slowly fill the hole in with dirt and rock the item back and forth so that it slowly rises to the top. Eventually the hole is filled in and the item is rolled out. Even if that means you have to dig out all the dirt again is is better than a muscle strain or a hernia operation.
Great videos U guys are awesome but cows shyt are scary lol
