Here are some considerations for edits to the deck. Let me know what you think!
*Ritual Cage - protects ritual monsters from being targeted or destroyed by card effects.
*Extra-Foolish Burial - Can send Herald for a search, N'tss for a pop, or Mereologic Aggregator for a negate. But I have to pay half my LP to do it. Pay half just to get Ashed is gonna hurt.
*Diviner of the Herald - Can send for various effects, but do I want to spend $35 on a Veiler/Imperm magnet?
But more importantly, what do I take out?

I used to play Nekroz so I have some insight. I am no means the Jessie Kotton of Nekroz but this is feedback I got playing it.
Impcantation engine is a good starting point if you are a budget and it's inherently a solid engine (power creep makes it seem worse than it actually is. Good for learning Ritual decks. You can move on from it if it's not pulling its weight during events.
      1. Cut Armor and Catastor they are not doing as much for you. Possibly the 2nd Trish and Gungnir (can side it out for going 2nd if you want.)
      2. Try out Nekroz of Areadbhair the level 10. He is a negate and your Shurit/Kaleidoscope can bring him put. Also Gishiki Grimness from PHNY is more copies of Shurit because it can count as the entire tribute for a Water Ritual Monster.
      3. Looking into the Dogmatika and Libromancers helps extend, provide more interruptions, more ED options and more ED hate with Dogmatika. I've seen Drytron and Magikey get mixed in too (Drytron got new support too.)
      4. Crossout Designator w/ Called By is a must since HT (especially Ash, Droll and Imperm/Veiler) screw your turn fast. This pack is an auto included with how heavy HTs are being leaned into (don't forget to Side 1x Mourner to not lose in time and Shifter not get your back blown out turn 1 and especially turn 2 vs Tenpai.)
      5. Diviner is a solid choice but you always run 1-2 copies if you fear the HTs. Only run her if you can benefit from the Synchro Summoning and dumping Trias Hirearchea and Arc Light. I personally don't run Manji and Diviner together. One or the other for your NS. Price went down post Terminal Revenge so scoop them up FAST (New Ritual archetypes causes the fucking card to shoot up $20+)
6.Blink Out is a cheap Side Deck Quick Play Spell that's essentially De-Fusion vs your opponents Link Monsters (good against the boards Fiendsmith Snake Eyes builds).
      7. Don't be afraid to go over 40 cards. Nekroz is hella consistent as is. Helps make some room for non engine/tech cards.

I legit was thinking about why wouldn’t you run triple kaleidoscope. No Valk is crazy but it makes sense all it is, it’s a big boy that lets you draw. There’s ways that effect can be plus but it conflicts with Pot of Pros. Double Trish is a staple for me. I’m surprised you’re playing catastor tho. And I love Manju

Yeah Kaleidoscope is awesome! I run Catastor strictly to protect Unicore. That way they can’t just summon a big extra deck monster and run over Unicore, because then they get their effects back

I ran dogmatikas instead of the impcantations and it was pretty consistent and it was very solid at fueling the nekroz engine. just nadir gets you two Herald's. and it's great at going second. if you lose game 1, you could even side in schism or main it. unfortunately I don't play it anymore because it's just been power crept too hard. and at one point I was running each of the dogmatika rituals cuz then you Ed rip them and still get out unicorn, also with the ritual dogs you could send three Herald's turn one. The nekroz engine ratios seem solid i played the exact same number, i never played the battle pop one thats cool asf tho.

I think Valk is mandatory if you are playing impcantations, it turns otherwise useless bodies into draws. This deck cannot really be made competitive because of how little non-engine it can fit.

I guess it’s a good thing I took out the Impcantations after this then lol. I knew it wouldn’t be competitive, but I was disappointed that I couldn’t even get a clear victory at locals. I got 2 draws instead 😔
