  • Hi! Welcome back to ABA Exam Review. Today is a continuation of our RBT Task List Study series. This series is covering each section of the task list in small chunks. Today Skill Acquisition is covered. Specifically, prompting and generalization. RBTs must know how to prompt their clients, fade their prompts, teach generalization, and check for maintenance when delivering ABA services. The RBT exam is based on the RBT task list. These RBT terms and RBT practice questions are meant to simulate the RBT test. For RBT practice exams and RBT study guides check out the links below:

Thank you very much for breaking down response and stimulus generalisations. I think I understand the concept better now.

Another question on maintenance. For example i taught my client how to tie her shoe lace in front of her parents and her as well. A week later, the parents said that she couldn’t tie her shoe. Is it also a failure in maintenance?

I have a question. If my client keeps getting an answer incorrectly for DTT for a skill that ought to have been mastered? Should I go on and reintroduce errorless teaching or just inform my BCBA? I can’t still pause and wait for a response and try again if he keeps getting the question wrong.

probably reteach with errorless learning and put it off maintenance and inform your BCBA
