- Welcome back everybody! Today we have what seems to be an exclusive to Philadelphia, the Nike Dunk Low "Philly"! The project is the end result of a collaboration between Philadelphia's Lapstone and Hammer, Creme, and Nike. The biggest question is... did they get it right?

I found out about the drop on X... Twitter, while I was at the Dr in Philly. Told the doctor that we had to hurry or reschedule, because I had to go. Got to L&H around 10am and walked out with my pair around 12:30p. I didn't think I would get my size, but I did. Brian was out there the whole time. Excellent drop and definitely a nice sneaker.
💯 the whole drop was great, I was completely shocked to get my size considering how many people showed up. I was on vacation from work and decided to get in line. I assumed wouldn’t get a pair and lo and behold, I got mine. Agreed though, super nice pair, overall great release.

Dope review fam. Ngl I wasn’t interested in the shoe originally but now I’m in. Really cool and simple yet thoughtful concept. And as you said, it’s a dunk. Might have to get my hands on these somehow. Cheers!

Secured my pair from Snipes (North Philly) Saturday after the 1st release. This sneaker is in my top 5 in my collection.

First REAL detailed video of these, thanks! Lapstone & Hammer did an amazing job with these! Still pains me I couldn't get down there Thurs. a few weeks ago. It pained me more after seeing L&H posting "plenty of sizes still available" around 2pm Thurs. Early Friday morning I headed to L&H before opening (small line formed again) -- I figured...more like hoped they still had my size. Eh, nope, the owner Brian just said "only 3-7.5." - eh...gut punch!
Walked across town to Creme321..forget it, totally gone. Raffles on DTLR, Snipes...a fat L. SO..I am hoping I can grab these on SNKRS next week.
Thank you! Surprisingly, they had plenty of stock which was surprising and great. I'm guessing in line with me, there were probably 300-400 people... Maybe more and I would say by the time I got to the front the only size gone was a 13 at that point. I really hope Nike has a good amount of stock for everyone, this is an excellent shoe imo.
I got mine and i love em. Esp being born and raised in South Philly. I wore them 2x already. Now i’m wondering if they will go up in value?
Nice! I think they will, with the snkrs release they'll come down a bit more but over time they'll definitely appreciate.

Thank you for watching! Absolutely. I was told they run big at the store but based on my try on, they're true to size. If you're a wide footer they're a smidge narrow but I'd still recommend going true to size.

I get the "Iggles green" and orange (Flyers) color schemes, but am surprised Red (Phillies) was not featured somewhere in the lining or sole?? Or have a bit of dark blue & gold (Union) somewhere as well.....
Agreed! I noticed the colors and thought they were referencing the eagles or something, but I think it's more supposed to represent paint and the art of Philly than the sports. When they debuted the shoe, it was at citizens bank park (Phillies) and I honestly thought it was a Phillies specific color way that even the phanatic (mascot) and staff had, presumably as gifts. But it turned out it was more story than direct reference to the teams.
@@thereviewd Yes. Multi-colored laces would have been too expensive, probably, and it's more about Philly's grittiness and art, than its sports. But come'on, add just a little bit more phillies red! Anyways, (a) Jeff Lurie must be VERY happy. (ib) thank YOU for all this great content!
@GeoffKimo I agree!! I heard Brian say that he didn't want to do the typical Philly thing (cheese steaks, etc, etc) and wanted to focus on the story. Imo though, sports is a big part of our DNA obviously so I agree, something that references our teams, kinda like weaving our story or our teams into the story of the shoe (colors specifically) would've been cool in addition to the sports nod on the insole. Either way, this was awesome, I can't help but smile when I see it because of my story now; how much fun I had and the surprise of actually getting a pair. I hope Brian gets a shot to do something with the eagles, I know he was talking to them before about a potential collab which would've been incredible (I think jimmy gorecki from standard issue tees got that one though). I love lapstone and I hope for nothing but success for them. Thank you for the kind words, I really really appreciate it!!

That's a healthy amount. I really didn't think I had even a remote chance of getting a pair. Something like this is usually ultra limited.
