This was such a sponsored video....Not even sure to believe it. Loreals products are NOT cruelty free or environmentally friendly. Both of which are important. Anyway, I love the rest of your videos!
I'm in loveeeeee with your hair color, you are so gorgeous omg. I want to dye my hair like that, now I have a dark Cooper and I'm scared because I don't want to bleach my hair 😢
Your hair colour is just hair goals! unfortunately, I used to use chemical hair dye and that just didn't work for me at all... I'm the person who needs to wash my hair every other day. (tried everything to do less but my hair and skin is just naturally oily) so my colour faded in 2 weeks almost completely. Now I use copper coloured henna which keeps my hair healthy(it got longer and noticeably thinker!) and gives me a real nice copper colour. it's also cheaper and stays red way longer. I do have to say, henna is a bit tricky because you can't predict how it will look over your own hear colour but I like that because it looks natural.
where do you buy henna from? I want to add some to my conditioner. I've been doing red for about 8 years now and I still haven't figured out a good way to get it to last longer - I have curly hair that gets too wild if I don't condition it at least every other day. Henna sounds like a good idea.
Go to the gym and do box very day and I sweat, I HAVE to shower ever day; BUT I just dyed my jar to a copper red...my hair will fade, what colore I will have in the future ? (My original hair is a dark brown)what do I do?
great question! I LOVE hair oils so I am alway experimenting. Right now, I love OUAI's hair oil, Gisou honey hair oil, and any sort of macadamia nut oil from sally beauty
definitely bleach your eyebrows if you're going red if you want it to look natural. (If you have dark eyebrows) Sally's has a good facial bleach that you can use little by little. It makes a huge difference. You only need to leave it on for about 5-8 minutes just to lighten them a bit.
Hey Allison, i hope you´re fine! Have you thought about using henna hair dye? It will stick to your hair for three month and longer without fading! I am copper/ginger and want to give it try in a few days or weeks, because i no longer want to chemical dye that much. This would lead me sooner or later to a darker red because it lasts longer, but i want that natural orange touch! Henna hair day is a very good hairtreatment, looks totally natural and lasts longer... wish me luck for my first henna experience ;) and maybe i could inspire you to try something new
HELP ME PLEASE The fact that you are not a real redhead and wearing white. My hair color bleeds even when it is dry onto non black clothes. And my skin. Im using loreal hi color products with a ten developer from sallys. I cant afford a true salon trip. I dye every 8 weeks or so. No heated tools. Wash hair once a week in color water with colorsafe GOOD shampoo. Do you have tips for me??? I love this red. Have had it for two years. But im over the skin dying. And i have tried lots of different brands
Hey Allison! I'm planning to dye my hair a copper auburn shade soon, my hair has been silver grey-ish for a while now but I'm getting sick of how time consuming the entire root bleaching/toning process. I've died my hair red before (on honey blonde hair) and it turned out beautifully but now I'm a bit nervous about going back to red as I have no clue how my silver/grey hair will react to the red dye. Have you got any advice for a fellow hopefully future red head? Thanks so much! Keep up the good work love your videos
I don't have a ton of expertise in this area because I've never gone from silver and bleached to red. My biggest piece of advice is to go to a fantastic colorist. Look at their work on IG and social media and make sure that they are great at color corrections!
You know how mean high school kids can be right? I’ve got naturally ginger hair, pale skin and freckles. It’s not fun. You get called names, have stuff thrown and you and generally get picked on.
your hair color is so beautiful, i can't stop staring at it
Thank you!!!!

Which comb do you use? I havent found a comb yet that I can brush my wet hair with without „destroying“ it
You have beautiful and healthy looking hair. More videos please - I enjoy watching you.
thanks Laura! I have a few more videos up my sleeve-thanks for watching and stay tuned! x

I hope your stylist tells us what color she uses. I would love to know too!!!
Yasmin Gonzalez would you watch a video about my color with me and my colorist??
Allison McNamara absolutely!
I thought you had to say outright in your videos if it's sponsored? It's a youtube video restriction.
Beautiful! If you don't mind, what dye and colour do you use exactly?? Your tone is perfect 😁💖
My colorist won't tell me the exact formula, but I'll ask her what colors she uses!
