Schmetterling is a german word. I have already understood that. I have been crying a lot when I found the Soundtrack and saw the name. I have been feeling a lot of pain.
I've searched far and wide for the sheet music for this and it just doesn't seem to exit. The only transcriptions are simplified versions. If anyone finds the sheet music for this version please let me know.
Frederik Saelmans Hello, there are simplified versions of this piece, the first 2minutes have been transcribed quite successfully. As for the cadenza part everybody has avoided it because it is so very difficult to make out the notes. I myself have tried but it is clearly out of my grasp. It's not a definite give up but you need loads of time and a great deal of concentration, to listen to it back and again at a very slow pace, like 25% of the original speed. This is how I did when I transcribed Believe Again (much much easier!). You will be a hero if you take up the challenge transcribing this wonderful Schmetterling. Ganbatte ne!
Moody - Beautiful Anime and VG Music Hey I didn't know you were around in the vicinity. I think it's less difficult than the 9th Mvt from the symphony suite, but does this one fill in your request conditions ? You can be sure that everything I look for, if I find it, I learn it and I play it 😅 I wouldn't call it a challenge though, it's not like me to ask, especially if I cannot give something in return :)
@@Ieglenguyen Yeah, this one definitely seems much easier than Mvt. 9, and a lot of people want the sheets/synthesia of it, so I'm going to add to my general list of stuff to transcribe/arrange. It will take me some time to get to it, but eventually I want to cover all these piano soundtracks from Tokyo Ghoul:re.

Bruh, this version matches with the Tokyo Ghoul atmosphere way better than the original piece, imo. It has that really cool smothness added to it.
for real, tokyo ghoul is all about beauty in basic instruments and the piano version is an example of that, the other one is too much for the heart
