Hi Julia. I lived in Rio Dell at the time of the Stafford slide, and when you began your tree-sit in Luna. I arrived in Humboldt County in 1989 after a 1200 mile bicycle tour of California. I moved back to the Rocky Mountain region in September of 1998. I love the ancient redwoods, and just finished reading your book: "The Legacy of Luna" (sent by a good friend in Rio Dell). Yes, I saw folks go out of their way to trash the environment, so shallow that they saw the environment as being a threat to their livelihoods. I am so proud of you Julia.
