A player who at one point was arguably the best player in the league during a time where Lebron, KD, Steph, and Kawhi were in their prime, just to be put under fringe top 10 players in the league during the 90s/00s. And then old heads will say that we’re the ones being disrespectful to past eras. Just crazy
His prime/best team he got happened to be at same time as the most stacked team of all time. I don't think you could replace harden with many people and have them compete with the kd warriors. Only ones I can think of is lebron or a healthy Leonard

He had better seasons individually outside of 01. 03, 05, 06 are the first that come to my head. It’s just they changed the roster up so much and after brown left their defensive schemes significantly took a nosedive. And back then you weren’t making it far in the playoffs with a low rated or even subpar defensive team. Also just because it was AI and what he represented and how he carried I speculate that their might’ve been some chiseling going on in the regular season and the playoffs.

The problem with MVP logic for dominance is that by this logic Kobe wasn't dominant until 2008 and then the 2008 MVP retroactively gives him dominance before.

Extreme High Usage with poor shooting not just because of spacing, but because of the mechanics of his jumpshot. Within the constructs of winning or competing for championships players like Iverson or Westbrook as a team's no. 1 is a waste of time.
That’s a bit harsh. He was CLEARLY a better scorer than Westbrook , more efficient and certainly a better shooter hence why defenders weren’t backed off in the paint when he was on the perimeter. Westbrook brings more things to the table for sure though. As far as him as the #1 option, it’s not necessarily but ideal but he probably could win as the #1 option if his co star was someone like KG, Duncan ,etc. Players with more overall value but not as good offensively as him.

I think that’s the main thing AI had over other guys at his position. His energy dude was just a runner, would’ve been hell in track if motivated.
