These are some very strange elevators. These were installed as part of an addition. The Executive Tower is another tower that was built to make the Hyatt Regency bigger. This tower has less character than the main, but it is still pretty interesting. They decided to go with Westinghouse for these ones. These were installed in 1977 and were modernized by Schindler in 2010/11. It would have been cool to see these original but unfortunately these have long been modernized. The service elevators (which I didn’t film or check out) were also modernized by Schindler. On the first floor, there is an original Westinghouse call button about 40 feet away from the elevators which was very strange. What is even more strange is that the elevator lobby on the ground floor has skylights and you can see the concrete elevator shafts. These are still some pretty cool elevators.
