Both are excellent but if you want to future proof your set up I would go with the pod mic. Also, the softwarengineer let's you EQ the mic more than the cheaper one. Both are great though! Plus RODE is an excellent brand to work with if you have any issues.
Thank you.... love it señor!!... I got the NTG5 for future projects and personal use. It is so hard to use in the wrong environment. Personally, i don't like a mic on my face, but I have been considering the PodMic because it is easy to use, sounds great, and it looks beautiful.
Thanks for the comment! It's a lovely-sounding mic. I plan to do more recording at my desk, and I wanted something that integrated well into my ecosystem, and it looked cool. The thing is that for 200 bucks it is a little overpriced but it's my opinion that it's worth it because of the ease of use. Like I mentioned in the video, I just want the thing to work with little setting adjustment. Audio can get really complicated. Thanks again, amigo!
It's a clean-looking mic. Especially since it is all black. I'm an audio newb so I may not use it to it's full potential. But it's a good intro mic to more advanced audio design. Thanks for the view, amigo!
A hello from France, great video !

You should change the title of this video to indicate usb mini.
