  • The slicer slider handles in Power BI are VERY large and do not have a resizing option. The setting to toggle them to a better-looking style is hidden in the menu in a weird place, but it's super fast and easy to do once you know where it is. Here's where it's at!

    THANK YOU!! It's ridiculous that this is so well hidden. Also, thank you very much for making your video short and to the point. It gets very annoying watching dozens of 15 minute videos while trying to figure out an answer to a small problem.

    I'm glad I'm not crazy when I thought, "How is this responsive?" Thank you for sharing!

    OMG - No freakin' way! I keep seeing examples of this and I was always "how the.....?" No wonder I never found the setting! Responsive - yeah whatever 🙄. Thank you for this!

      Luckily they're redoing the slicer visuals in the near future, it's really overdue haha!

    Thank you so much for this hint!!! I keep wondering why Microsoft just can´t enable a feature where you can actually set the size of these slider handles

      I am 100% sure a better slider will happen SOMEDAY, it’s just a matter of when. 😅

    some crazy people at PBI, wasted my 2 hours to remove the balls on the either side... still its too big to fit on my top bar but at least I have saved some space. Thank you.

    Much better like this !! Have you come across a solution where a slider can be used to just select 1 date(rather than a date range)?

    • @bi-ome
      @bi-ome  4 месяца назад +1

      Yeah, you could change the style to "vertical list" instead of "between" and turn on the search so that the day would pop up when you start typing. Or there's a bunch of fancier options in this post: www.linkedin.com/pulse/power-bi-single-date-picker-without-dax-torsten-wanka/

    What's the name of that slicer's name?

    • @bi-ome
      @bi-ome  2 месяца назад

      It’s the normal core visual slicer. If you put a date or number field in it, it defaults to a slider. This is the classic slicer, not the new one that just came out a couple months ago.
