As a singer-songwriter, some days I get so stuck comparing my musical journey to others and can feel really down about myself and like what I’m even doing. I’ve been writing songs for 15 years and moved to down basically 10 years ago (give or take) - the road has been long! So grateful for nights like these that are SO over the moon inspiring and just pure FUN. Thank you to the light for shining through. 🔦 Connell #storytime #nashville #keithurban

I wish you never had those difficult days where the music business gets you down, or when you feel like things aren't where they should be, but I'm glad to know that music can also pick you back up. Please know that, in the same way that Kiely Connell and Natalie Hemby turned your day around, you are doing that for someone else every time you perform. It might be another young artist in the crowd that is having the kind of tough day you're talking about, or it might just be a regular schmoe like me, with heavy worries on their head, and then you come on with that incredible voice and all of those amazing and beautiful songs, and you make everything better. You might not always hear it from people in the crowd, but it is ALWAYS happening. Believe me; you've turned around more bad days for me than I can count. I'm so glad to know that those artists were able to do the same for you.
