My husband and I were just talking about how our house stays clean most of the time now because we aren't in the baby or toddler phase anymore. It's bittersweet, but man it makes for an easier life lol.
This is so motivating; my daughter is 2 and she is such a night owl (like me, we’re working with her doctor to change her sleep pattern). I want to start waking up super early.
Loved this morning routine video 😊 also I love what you said in the beginning about chaotic mornings with babies/small children - I am in the thick of that now and it’s so hard but you reminded me that there’s light at the end of the tunnel and it won’t always be this crazy
Trying to cherish our mornings while I can. I have 2 daughters, 4 and 8. We’ve been letting our 2nd grader walk home from the bus, upon her request. That was a tough decision, but it’s only up the street and she’s ready.
I get up at 5:30 every morning to get my kids ready and start my day.. currently have a 4th and 5th grader and they are pretty self sufficient already!
Definitely wonderful when your kids are older and school morning become easier. Now imagine when they all begin driving and graduating from school. You'll miss hectic school mornings.. lol. I have 3 kids 2 grown and 1 in high school. Mornings are definitely different...lol
I also get up before my kiddos around 5:30-5:45 depending on how I’m feeling 😂. Let the dogs out and have my coffee while scrolling through facebook. Then get my girls up around 6:30 and I finish getting ready because they are also self sufficient. I leave for work about 7:20 and my boyfriend drops them off at school for me.
Thanks for sharing your makeup products especially doing your eyelashes and mascara. Just got my first eyelash curler-just ever since wearing makeup for years I can’t get my lashes in the curler😂 I am trying it again. 🍂
Hey Kristen, Happy Wednesday. I don’t have any kids right now so I only have to get myself ready for work luckily. I know it will be a challenge when I have kids and I have to get them ready before I go to work so I’m enjoying my easy days until then. I don’t do makeup or my hair in the mornings so I know this will save some time. 😅😊 I just love when you make these videos, they’re so entertaining and motivating. 😊
My boys are 15 and 19 and omg I miss those mornings where I thought it couldn’t get more stressful lol now it’s a fight and argument wanting to stay home every single day 😂 luckily my 19 year old graduated because he was worse but the teen years mornings make the young hectic, “running around like I was a chicken with its head cut off” mornings feel like a walk in the park 😂
I L❤VE when we get lil glimpses of the kiddos. There so grown...time flies! Is your hair color faded to red or is the lighting...just curious. Does Berk get her redtone from you or Donnie side. You've told us over the years but have forgotten. Have you ever heard of the brown hair color called mushroom? Its your natural brown but very soft(cooler tone) no red. Its achieved by adding toner to your natural hair color level. I think your hair would look amazing like that with your few blonde highlights❤ I was a Cosmologist for 23yrs so hair is the first thing I notice...lol, so dont mind me😉 I've always admire your hair & your long eyelashes too👍

Yes he does and always has. He goes out in the morning and then a few hours later when I come home (I only work very part time at the shop) then multiple times in the afternoon / evening. But even if we were to be gone all day he doesn’t ever go in the house. We just always make sure he goes right before we leave 😊
