Wow, I watched that at roughly the same date as he did. I almost completely agreed with Mearsheimer's assessment. America was egging on the Ukrainians to play hardball with the Russians and say that they want to join NATO regardless of Russian objections. Putin was right to be furious. But a full scale invasion was obviously way overboard.

Hi Johnny. First post but multi watches. Your apartment is lovely. Clean, open feeling. Great ceilings, wow! Hope you get to live there in happiness. Mary aka маруся.
Im sorry man. I think all of us who know what you have done there, have definitely thought about your situation and what it is. Its hard to have sympathy as far as being a refugee. I have never experienced that. I have lost my home. I know that feeling. I am so sorry.
Thanks for sharing Johnny FD, I see why you fell in love with Ukraine, such an amazing country and great hard working people. I hope you will be able to return soon in a non war zone. Thanks for all you are doing to help raise awareness and funds for Ukraine. Slava Ukraine!!
Thank you for sharing this Johnny, It's pretty easy to see that it wasn't an easy thing to share. I think it helps us to know that you weren't just someone who wanted to buy a cheap apartment in Kyiv to operate from, but you invested a significant amount of your life in order to make yourself a warm and comfy home. I also sincerely thank you for being "tactful" prior to this about not highlighting your own personal potential loss, while being able to film, share and work to help alleviate the travesty of up to 25% (at this time) of Ukraine's population being internally or externally displaced, let alone the human cost so far (I think you may have mentioned not wanting to leave your apartment twice since deciding to leave Kyiv, so props to ya). Love ya Johnny, keep doing what you do, I reservedly look forward to the homecoming. Slava Ukraini!
"No matter how far the wolf strays away from his pack, one day he will come home." Hopefully you will return as soon as possible after the invasion, I wish you the best and stay frosty, Johnny!
That dust walking through the place mate. I am so surprised you guy didn't open the windows and run an air filter. I truly, TRULY hope you don't end up with lung problems from this project. Because lead was a common additive in the old days in everything to do with housing.
If you were talking about an italian Espresso machine: Dont get a DeLonghi Espresso Machine. Spend 100 dollars more to get a mill and machine combo from Sage. Not that much more price but then u have actual quality and not plastic stuff.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Watching this was a little like watching the movie Titanic, where early on, the characters were still unaware of what's about to happen. Ukraine has defied all expectations so far, and may it continue doing so. May the war end soon, so its citizens can rebuild it even better than before. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
You are strong, Johnny, you Will rebuild if need be and you will come out better and stronger. Also much love from around the world is being sent your way. That is also very powerful.
'Dream home' yet you didn't stay to defend it, or just hand out supplies or food. You don't have to fight with a rifle to make a difference, but you should stay and help where you can.
So sorry for you bud. It gotta suck to spend so long to finish it, only to have to leave, without knowing if it's there if/when you come back. Take care. I hope to visit Kyiv briefly in 2 weeks.
Hopefully you have not lost all your material possessions like some people have lost their spouse or children or parents. Here's praying for you buddy.

Aww Johnny it looks so beautiful and I love that you wanted to restore it. I really hope that it is something you can go back to. I donated on one of your other videos… I can’t believe this is happening.
We renovated an 1867 victoria home in Cape Cod, MA. A lot of work and we lived in it. Love your floors and ceilings. Hoping some day peace will be restored and you can return.
Amazing video Johnny!! Very Nice apartment, lets hope it wil survive, So sad how war can destroy everything and everyones life and dreams, that is why we should have hope for a better future!

You place looks great I really like the old brick work, I hope it’s still there after this unjust war.
What a great job with the apartment. I hope nothing happens to the building hope🤞
WE all cry with you Johnny. You are doing a good job helping others.
Hi Johnny. First post but multi watches. Your apartment is lovely. Clean, open feeling. Great ceilings, wow! Hope you get to live there in happiness. Mary aka маруся.
Thanks so much! 😊
Glad your back in the Ukraine getting back on track, Congratulations on your Ukrainian Residency! Good Work Man!!!
Congrats! I am so happy for your place you bought!
So sorry Johnny. Keep positive. Hopefully it will all be ok.
Hope you're able to go back again some day soon and that you find your place in tact.
"No matter how far the wolf strays away from his pack, one day he will come home."
Hopefully you will return as soon as possible after the invasion, I wish you the best and stay frosty, Johnny!
That dust walking through the place mate. I am so surprised you guy didn't open the windows and run an air filter. I truly, TRULY hope you don't end up with lung problems from this project. Because lead was a common additive in the old days in everything to do with housing.
I'm actually still suffering because of it, my nose has been clogged from the dust ever since. 😬
Now I understand why you didn't want to leave. Your apartment was looking so beautiful. My heart goes out to you, and everyone in Ukraine.
Man, this happens just as you were putting the finishing touches. Hope the war ends soon and you're able to return to your (hopefully intact) home
I don't think he was wearing his Mongolian Warlord merch as he fled the Ukraine.
