- What’s up everyone! Well I bought a boat, a triton bass boat. In this video we going have a look at it see what works and what doesn’t. So we going find out if I done good or got smoked. Thanks for viewing be sure to like and subscribe to help my channel grow!
You should be getting a stream of water out that hole. Could be plugged up. I always replace the impeller in any motor I don’t know the history on.
Im glad i stumbled across ur channel. Now im a subscriber. Keep up the great content. Much love to ya brother from Maryland❤❤❤
Great buy for $3,500!!! Enjoy the project!!
Last year i bought a 1987 pro craft with a johnson gt 150. Its been a pleasure getting going. I remember trying to figure out all the switches and trolling motor. This is my first bass boat and it runs about 60 mph.
nice!
The 3 position switch. Top position is constant on the selected speed. That is what the grey wheel is the speed selector. There should be 5 speeds and an off. So 6 selections. The switches middle position is to operate ate the selected speed when you depress the grey pedal. The bottom switch position is also operated by the pedal but is high speed. So the trolling motor can be on 2 speed and you can flip the switch to operate on high momentarily. Then flip it back to get back to the selected speed.
Do not let that motor run like that if it’s not peeing . You will destroy it . And your carpet . Replace it with a good charcoal carpet will match that boat good . Will be a great looking boat
You didn’t get hurt on price .
You might want to delete that auto oil system. I run a Tohatsu M50D that i had to delete. You can also just reroute the supply hose from the carb back to itself if the kit isnt available. Cheers Boys
Did it on my Johnson 40 and even ran better, plus no more taking up space with a remote oil tank. Worth the effort!
@@nukacolaguy001 agreed! Definitely worth the effort. Saving a 2 stroke is always a good thing to do!
I have a 2010 model explorer 17. I love mine. And that is a good price. But I think its way underpowered with a 50hp. Its rated for 90. Hence why I say its not a great price
Gonna be a good series
Stay tuned!
Those square ear muffs that you used on the graden hose are junk get the round ones and always check the drain plug down by the center bottom of the boat is in before puting in the water. Good fihing.
Watch some videos on wet sanding Gel Coat. You can make that boat pop if done right.
That dial on the left of the trolling motor pedal is your speeds
clean out the water lines or maybe nbad water pump !!!
Some outboard have thermostats in them
I’ll check that out. Thanks!
Best advice I can give you is to sell it to me for $3550. 😂
Hopefully you got it pissing good by now.
That's going to be a nice boat when she's cleaned up.
That would turn a profit wouldn’t it? 🤔 🤣
Stay tuned for the next episode!
missing the kill switch so if you fall out kills the motor.
You might also want to check . But the fuel you might want to run is
non-ethanol
Change the thermostats.
