Dear God,
I come to you, to confess that I am a sinner. I can't even begin to list all of the things I've done to displease you, and I ask that you forgive me for every sin I've committed, those known and unknown. I believe that your son Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose again, that I may have eternal life. I turn away from my sins and invite you into my heart. I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. I want to do life by your side.

I could literally take off running, Dyani!!! This is too specific and what you said is exactly what God told me. "They didn't sin. The enemy did." (According to my level of understanding at the time.). Thank you for this prophetic word, in Jesus name.
I’ve never healed from my past trauma, I only learnt how suppress the feelings but not face them. GOD has been trying to put me in a heart posture where I face those feelings but I have refused because I will cry, I will relive the trauma and I don’t want it, it’s too painful and all I want to focus on is my happiness, if I look back at that pain I won’t have anything to fall back on I’ll completely shut down. These are my immediate family members parents and I live with them. I’m not ready to face it just yet, the only way I’ll be ready to is when my kingdom spouse comes and gives me so much love that will allow me to forgive and forget otherwise those wounds are still too fresh, I’m 21 yet I can’t, not now

This is a big problem in the Kingdom of Christ I forgiveness! This is a major weapon the enemy uses to block our blessings. So thank you for sharing! The Lord will vindicate us and praying for others really will help us through such storms! Thank you for your power testimony I pray it breaks the chains of I forgiveness off of God chosen one’s so we can rise higher in Christ. Amen

Wow! This was a timely message. I have been struggling with unforgiveness and although i pray for these individuals, I find myself still thinking about the hurt they caused. I say I give them over to God but the pain caused still feels new. Help me Father to let go and truly forgive.

I just tried saying their name and forgiving them for each individual wrong they did to me and it sounded so silly to me that it made me smile and laugh. It brought me to a relaxed state mentally and physically to really trust God. I am waiting on the vindication even though it’s hard to move on without seeing it.

The title alone is a prophetic word for me!!!
I’m also struggling with unforgiveness because my head keeps telling me it’s too easy for them , they never even apologized or acknowledged what they did to me . But I read somewhere that resenting people is like drinking poison expecting them to die.
God is the only judge I have no right to be angry or revengeful. To God be the glory I’m leaving the anger and resentment go and I’m fully embracing God’s peace that surpasses all understanding 🙏🏾

It’s interesting, because today during the service I attended my pastor was preaching about forgiveness today. He even used Luke 6:37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”

I read Matthew 6:14-15 last night after I sinned. I was repenting and rebuking what I had came into covenant with and today he told me I needed to forgive myself for doing that. He showed me I needed to stop fighting the new things he has for me. Wow Dyani, thank you for being obedient ❤
You musst learn to not judge yourself too, like love your neigbour as yourself, yourself is your neigbour too!...if you do not forgive yourself it is a probiem too...

I experienced the exact same situation. I think I'm in a good place with my forgiveness process, all things considered, but I also believe God is asking me to specifically pray for that person (that ex) consistently for the next week.

He’s been talking to me about it too. I had a situation where once I realize just how painfully wronged I was God showed me that there was an equal lack of forgiveness.
Everyday is a journey of forgiving until it doesn’t hurt. God is showing me that forgiveness is what makes room for healing and restoration.

Usually when someone offends me, I look at him/her as a prop for the devil. That is why Jesus wants us to forgive our brothers/sisters because they know not what they do. Yes all of us done terrible things but remember the devil can use any person to do his will that is why you must wear the armor of God to protect yourself from the enemy. Even the scripture says we do not fight against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. We don’t fight against man but against the spirit.

What about Narcissistic abuse and sexual exploitation, coercion? These things are very heavy.
Should we always expect vindication when forgiving?
i think that God will vindicate but that shouldn't be our focus because we will get bitter when we don't see it happen. forgive and let go.. that bitterness and resentment is a burden in itself
