We did a range test of the MG Comet EV on Delhi-Gurgaon Traffic roads! The vehicle was driven in ECO mode with 100% AC On all the times. Regeneration levels were set to heavy and AC & audio system were used all the time.

Negatives you haven’t explained
1. outside noise can be heard inside while driving
2. Door is so big that you open it AC cooling vanishes within a minute
3. It is difficult for elders (parents) to sit at back seat while going out for s small distance
4. Do not support DC FAST CHARGER
5. Though it can be parked in a small place but it becomes very difficult to re-enter in the car if some one parks near to it, reason its big/vide doors.. it is better if MG provide 4 doors with small place for a boot like Tata Tigor to be more practical
6. It should be in the range of 5-6 lacs price band
7. Tyre size should be at least 14 inches instead of 12” like a scooter
8. Test range should be done at a speed of 6 to 70 KMs per hour
9. At small Glove box should be provided to place car documents
10.Front glass is so big that sun is exposed in summer causing lot of heat.
11. The car is attractive one decides to go to showroom but changes its mind keeping in view its high price like Volkswagen Beetel

1. Very attractive
2. Prismatic cells are used in Battery which is very nice for battery life

My comet giving 70km to 114 km on full charge in city...it used to give 160km on full charge 9.5 months before...no help from MG
With me there are other comet owners too who are facings same problem 😞 I own MG Gloster also its good car but not Comet

Good test. I have comet too and it gives 170~180 range with a/c on in city.

So I guess the MG Comet did a very great job with its small battery capacity delivered very close to it's claimed range figures in compare to Tata Punch EV LR version which claims around 410 KMS.... In reality you get ( as per your video review only) around 280-300 kms range .....
Why like this? Please do explain it sir.....
