@@edelweiss7928 Hitler became vegan later in life during the war and although the swastika does not have Buddhist origins it is used heavily within the religion which makes the statement ‘Buddhist symbol’ correct.

One scenario could be in September of 1939, France and Britain push through the Maginot Line into the Rhineland being able to breakthrough the thinly held border by the germans and being able to set a frontline in the Rhine. Ending the war somewhere in 1940 as the military high command forced Hitler to sign a peace treaty due to forces having to be diverted from the Polish front into the western front to containt the early Allied advance. Poland lasts maybe a couple of weeks more (maybe even months) and this makes the Soviets decide to not invade Poland seeing how quick Germany was losing and to not antagonize the Allied powers.

But The British are able to hold onto Ceylon and Malaysia, as well as the holding on Borneo. The Dutch hold onto New Guinea and at least some of the surrounding islands and France still maintains their Pacific islands. The imperial powers remain as Americas allies and assist them in combatting Communism but would not be in their direct influence. The Nations under direct US influence are restricted to Italy, Luxembourg, West Germany, Denmark, Norway, Greece and Turkey with the possible addition of Ireland because the Irish would want to distance themselves from the UK. The British and French become the hegemons of Europe again after the USSR collapses in the 90s leading the Americans to focus more on the Asia Pacific to combat the rise of China. Whilst Britain and France expand their sphere of influence in Europe and would be more concerned by the resurgence of Russia under Putin. What do you think of that scenario???
