Saber's overall aesthetic was probably my favorite part. Loved the suits, jingles, and even the bigger books were cool for me. Each one having it's own gimmick and all that. Not to mention the music too. *cough cough* Rewrite the Story *cough cough*
Still think it's funny that the head writer of the Saber not only didn't write the most episodes of the show out of all the writers, but didn't even write the final stretch of episodes. Shows how much they actually trusted him after Ghost.
Watching Saber feels like being struck by Stockholm syndrome. With all its faults and ridiculousness, I still come back to it almost weekly. Mostly out of pity.
My Thoughts: Overall, I’m exhausted with Saber. Easily can say that it’s my least favorite rider series. There were moments I enjoyed but as an overall rider show, I claim it to be the worst. The overall show just felt so hallow and rushed and even when we do get moments that weren’t hollow and rushed, it was too little too late at that point. I didn’t like majority of the characters. There were too many characters, which adds to the series feeling hollow and rushed. Just overall was a huge miss. In regards of that hot take, yeah I definitely disagree. I found more enjoyment out of the Zero One cast/characters over Saber.
Saber doesn't come without Flaws, but I can't help but LOVE Saber. Maybe I'm biased due to my Writer's Heart, (I'm a Character and Story creator myself) but Saber's Themes and Gimmicks with books, the power of a Story, the existance of Wonder World, etc, were really cool and something that engage me since episode 1. Then I just Loved Touma and his catch phrase since the beggining, he became one of my favourite Main Riders by the end, he precious. And I mean, his whole deal was being "The Chosen One" Trope by _Literally_ being chosen by Luna. Plus I Love how expressive Naito is with his eyes, and his role in the V-Cinema 👌👌 And well, I simply fell in love with Naito's Smile too, he seems so gentle and it was like you could tell how much he enjoyed his role as Touma what made me enjoy the show a lot too 😂 Gotta Love when you can tell how much fun the Actors are having with the show 😌 Saber has some issue and narrative tropes that are very basic, but the latter felt very intentional based on the concept. And based on that concept, I can tell I find Saber's ending BEAUTIFUL! Timeless Story sounding in the background while the world desappears was so ominous, but then seeing videos of real people comenting their favourite Stories what helped Touma remake the world was such a very cute and unique touch. At the end I would have also prefer Touma having to be most of the time on Wonder World and sporadiclly being able to come to earth, but at the same time I don't mind it being such a happy ending. Idk, I think Saber is a very nice "Feel-Good" type of story, and that makes it more than worth it for me. And all that without speaking about THE MUSIC. Delicious🤌 In Conclusion, Saber is not perfect, but is a special one! 🫶 Solid 7/10 imo

I always find it kind of bizarre certain views on Tokusatsu stories like someone mentioning something is corny when we should consider it a children's series or when a person thinks there are fillers in Tokusatsu when that term is created only for original anime stories and not for series made that way. There is an important thing to talk about stories, not all characters need to have a super important role in the plot, just something that motivates him to be there is enough, the really important characters, these do need to have relevance, a backstory. give Ryu a great backstory, just say he has a wife and child and fights to protect them. And that at one point he recognizes Touma's sincerity in crossing swords with him and knowing Logos was wrong. interesting participation. And the theme of the series also involves fulfilling his promises. What Touma did to be the chosen one was that he was the only one who preferred to believe in people even in complicated situations, as he believed that there was a traitor in the guild, when he saw the dragon boy's feelings, that's the protagonist's role. series from beginning to end, we have examples of series that are at the top like Gaim or Build and we have other really problematic ones like Zi-O and Saber are at the top of a tier list with a story full of beautiful and beautiful moments, mainly the direction which is amazing

Really flawed show. I can not possibly enjoy a story when I notice that nearly every single character and every single plotline could have been executed 10x better. If the cast of W, Build or Zero-One returns in a special or movie, I would love it. If the cast of Saber returns, I would feel nothing, I would watch it just because it's more Tokusatsu-related content and that's it.

Saber's biggest problem is pacing. Which is the reason i dropped it. The beginning moves so fast that i ended up not caring about the characters.

The only great thing about him was breaking the 4th wall on Villain Backstory cliché but anything else was meh for me.
I can't find any bad point in saber except ren cause his character was so annoying... even desast was a better character and he started as a villain.
