Thanks for the course .. I need to verify the following ---- After the call got established, will the RTP/UDP (User Plan traffic) switched through the MSC, OR it can get switched through the BSC (RNC) without going to MSC ?? .. 2) Regarding the ciphering part, is it done End-to-End (A to B), or From A-to-MSC and from MSC-to-B ??

Thanks for watching and your good question, also sorry for my late response 🙋🏻‍♂️💐🙏🏻 About your question, the traffic (RTP/UDP) will not go through MSC, if the core architecture is R4 or the later versions.

How mss identify the dialled no is own customer or belongd to other network..since the mobile no portable system is also available

Thanks for your question 🌹 It’s different based on the core network plans of the operators. But usually in this case, MSS will forwards all to STP/DRA to check whether they are ported to another operator or not.
