It's interesting that people - when I tell them that I study history, they always ask me, "What are you going to do after your studies?
What is your vision? What do you want to work at?" I'm Cindy, I'm 22 years old. I'm - I was born, and I grew up in Germany.
I study the international version of - the History Bachelor, here Rotterdam at Erasmus University.
My regular weekdays, they really are different. My day might start - for example - at the Tea Lab. And then I really like going to the market, and doing my grocery shopping there. Which is really nice.
This week is a bit crazy. Because I have an exam today. I'm really into economic history and international relations, a lot. I really
like writing papers. And also my internship, I learned a lot about really the academic work of being a researcher.
You need that as a history student, to also be kind of the lawyer of a perspective you might not even believe in. Cause it opens you up for more different views, right? That you might not have. It's really great to be in a classroom with people from China, from Georgia, from the Netherlands, from Germany. Especially with
history of course, because there are so many different perspectives, right? So that's really great.
But my goal is to study as much as I can, also do my- Master eventually and my big goal is to get a PhD and to be a professor maybe one day, that would be really cool.
