Even as a kid, I used to consider Drake as a douchy idiot who would always takes things for granted as well as Josh, however now that I'm an adult, I've never hated him more.
Yup, Drake was the popular guy who seemed to just skate through everything, where Josh was awkward and struggled a lot. This episode was like the Family Guy where Meg finally stands up for herself. It makes the point that needed to be made the whole series, but is then immediately discarded by the end of the episode. Drake really didn't deserve Josh.
As a teen I liked Josh more. Now as an adult, I feel there should have been some realities In this parody universe that would have been more likeable like character development

Not only that he left him behind just to see his gf making him late for the exam and gets dropped a grade (although he passed the makeup exam) causing Josh to disown Drake.
Drake deserved everything he got in this episode. I always favoured Josh over Drake from the beginning. Drake lets Josh suffer alot in each season and Josh finally took guts to take a stand after taking so much punches from Drake's follies.

Drake asks Josh to do him a favour and he won’t let him have the good paddle. At this point, Josh should have refused until Drake agreed to give it to him; He can’t have everything!
What i always found really interesting about this episode is that NOBODY in Josh’s life gives him any grief for kicking Drake out of his life. This leads me to believe that nobody really liked Drake and were waiting for the day Josh got rid of him.
Although Mr. Roland is strict on not letting anybody who is late into his class, I can put up with him better than Mrs. Hayfer, who abuses her power on Drake.
He teaches his students how to be responsible and on time, and shows the penalty of not being on time. In the real world that truly matters. He also is respectful of any relationships the students form and does not disown or talk down on any pda. Just a simple “Drake stop kissing Kat” and that was the end of it. And finally, he shows concern but does not intervene when Josh says he doesn’t want to talk to Drake. He respects that their relationship as brothers and family is complicated and its not his place to encourage or reprimand the situation or play a hand in it. He’s a very simple and mature male teacher. Idk why, but that is SO fucking rare to see nowadays out of grade school and highs school teachers
Drake was later scolded by Audrey for not only breaking the window though Josh did it but for making Josh late for his exam and his selfish shenanigans

What made Drake an even bigger hypocrite he didn't care much of the exam when he ditched Josh. But when Josh ditched Drake in retaliation he then cared for the exam.
