Just for clarification for you guys since I keep seeing the same comment: I did turn in the quest when it was done. I went right back to the NPC that assigned me the quest, and turned it in. It did not count, and I was unable to receive a quest from any NPC, including the one I did the quest for, the rest of the time I was recording.
I actually think these are easier than the Peryton quests! My main issue was the bug preventing me from completing the NPC quests. Besides, the Fae is the last species in the journal. The developers announced that they'd be adding new species with new ways to unlock them, rather than just using the journal! I'm very excited to see it!

When i unlocked the fae horses I caught two fae horses and breed them. And the results looked like a fae perfect for fall so I named her fall like the season
Once you have 25% bond with Lyric, you can access her shop. When you open her shop, she should have a horses section of it. Click the button, and you should see the selection of currently available fae horses and their prices. The shop refreshes every few hours!

They updated the game a few hours ago, npc quests should work now
I bought the fall looking one from Lyric and named him Oak :3

I just sorta drew it how I draw a regular horse, but with the details specific to the Fae! (The antlers, hair, moss, etc.)
